Objective:The correlation analysis between the changes of 8-isoprostaglandin F-2?(8-iso-PGF2?)in serum and urine and cognitive function in patients with mild cognitive impairment(MCI),as well as the effect of moxibustion treatment.Methods:The level of serum and urine 8-iso-PGF2 alpha was detected in 214 cases of 152 cases in MCI group and 62 cases of normal control group.64 Patients in MCI group were randomly divided into moxibustion group(n = 32)and drug group(n = 32).Moxibustion group was treated with moxibustion at acupoint and drug group was treated with Donepezil hydrochloride.To observe two treatment group before and after treatment,serum and urine 8-iso-PGF2 alpha level and simple mental state examination scale(MMSE),Montreal cognitive assessment scale(MoCA),dementia syndrome classification integral(SDSD)change,and two treatment group after treatment efficacy evaluation.Results:(1)The levels of 8-iso-PGF2 a in serum and urine in MCI group were significantly higher than levels in the normal control group(P < 0.01),scores of MMSE and MoCA were lower than those in the normal control group(P < 0.01),and the difference was statistically significant.Both 8-iso-PGF2 a in serum and urine were negatively correlated with MMSE score(r =-0.445,r=-0.561,P<0.001)and MoCA score(r=-0.248,r=-0.371,P <0.001)respectively.(2)The scores of MMSE and MoCA in the two groups before treatment were lower than those in the NC group,and the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05);The scores of MMSE and Mo CA in the two groups after treatment were higher than those before treatment,but there was no statistical difference between the two groups.(P>0.05);The scores of MMSE and MoCA in the two treatment groups were significantly different before and after treatment(P < 0.001),and the changes in moxibustion group were more obvious than those in the drug group.(3)Two the level of serum and urine 8-iso-PGF2 alpha in the treatment group was higher than that of the NC group before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05);Two after treatment,the level of urine 8-iso-PGF2 alpha in the treatment group was lower than that before the treatment,and there was no statistical difference between the group NC and the group.(P>0.05);Two after treatment,the level of serum 8-iso-PGF2 alpha in the treatment group was lower than that before the treatment,but there was still significant difference between the NC group and the group.(P<0.05).Two the level of serum and urine 8-iso-PGF2 alpha in the treatment group was compared with that of the group P<0.01 before and after the treatment,and the change of the moxibustion group was more obvious than that of the drug group.(4)There was no significant difference in SDSD scores between the two treatment groups before treatment.(P>0.05);The SDSD score of the two treatment groups after treatment was lower than that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05);There was significant difference in SDSD scores between the two treatment groups after treatment.(P<0.01)The moxibustion group was superior to the drug group in improving the symptoms of phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.(5)After treatment,The curative effective rates of two groups were 71% and 70.8%,respectively,in which there was no difference of two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion:(1)The increasing level of 8-iso-PGF2? in serum and urine and the decline of antioxidant capacity may be important factors of cognitive impairment.(2)Moxibustion can improve the cognitive level of patients with mild cognitive impairment and reduce the oxidative metabolites.(3)The moxibustion group was significantly better than the drug group in improving the syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis in patients with MCI.(4)Moxibustion at specific acupoints enable to improve the cognitive function of patients with MCI.(5)Moxibustion is a simple,safe and effective method for the treatment of light MCI,which is worthy of further clinical application.
