Objective:To discuss the correlation between HO-1,8-oxo-dG, Aβ and mild cognitive dysfunction, so as to find biological markers to diagnose MCI and provide theoretical basis for its early screening. Methods:All the patients came from the Third Xiangya hospital. All subjects had accepted the MMSE and the version of Changsha MoCA to assess cognitive function. The criteria of diagnosis were as following: Peterson, criteria for the diagnosis of mild cognitive dysfunction. The participant were divided into disease control group and MCI group. Additionally, collection the demographic dates, medical history, routine laboratory data, and A(3, HO-1and8-oxo-dG level. The levels of Aβ, HO-1and8-oxo-dG in the Peripheral tissue were analyzed with sensitive enzyme-linked immunosor bent assays (ELISA). Using SPSS18.0statistical package for Statistical analysis. To describe the general demographic data, expressing the measurement data with (x±S), multiple comparison using single factor analysis of variance, comparison between the two groups using independent sample t test, count data using χ2inspection, and bivariate correlation analysis using Pearson correlation and partial correlation analysis. P<0.05is defined as criterion for differences are statistically significant.Results:(1) The correlation of Aβ, HO-1and8-oxo-dG level and age have no significant difference (P>0.05) in the MCI and control group, respectively.(2) The CSF Aβ level in MCI group was significantly lower than that in control group. The CSF HO-1,8-oxo-dG and serum HO-1level in MCI group were significantly higher than that in control group. The HO-1level has no significant difference between MCI group and control group both in CSF and serum (P>0.05).(3) In MCI group, the level of CSF HO-1and A(3,8-oxo-dG have a positive correlation (P<0.05). (4) Both in MCI group and the control group, the levels of CSF Aβ HO-1and8-oxo-dG have a significant positive correlation with MMSE and MoCA scores (P<0.05).Conclusion:(1) The expression of Aβ, HO-1and8-oxo-dG in the serum and CSF are all not affected by age.(2) HO-1, Ap and8-oxo-dG level in CSF can be the new markers for the diagnosis of MCI. HO-1level in the serum can be a peripheral biological marker in early diagnosis of MCI.(3) The CSF HO-1,8-oxo-dG and serum HO-1level have been associated with cognitive level. The less Aβ has, the poorer cognitive function is; the more HO-1and8-oxo-dG have, the lower cognitive level is.
