Clinical Observation On Treating Allergic Rhinitis By Acupuncture With Cunkou Pulse Viscera And Meridian Syndrome Differentiation

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture based on the differentiation of viscera and meridians on the treatment of allergic rhinitis,and to provide new methods and ideas for the treatment of allergic rhinitis.Methods: 70 patients who met the diagnosis and inclusion criteria of allergic rhinitis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each group had 35 cases.Acupuncture based on the differentiation of viscera and meridians were given in the treatment group: acupoint treatment was in accordance with the symptoms of allergic rhinitis in patients with deficiency and excess of viscera and meridians,as well as the principle of “pulse,symptom,acupoint”.The control group was treated with acupuncture based on the differentiation of viscera,selection of acupoint was in accordance with the treatment of allergic rhinitis mentioned in National Chinese Medicine Industry Higher Education the 12 the Five-Year Planning Textbook "Acupuncture Therapeutics".Patients in both groups were treated three times a week,18 times as a course,the therapeautic effect was observed after 1course of treatment,clinical efficacy is evaluated with the symptom and the signs of quantitative assessment.Changes in the symptom of sneezing nasal congestion,runny nose,and the improvement of turbinate swelling before and after the treatment were observed.Results: The data of 65 patients who met the research plan and completed the study were analyzed.Among them,34 cases were in the treatment group (acupuncture treatment based on the differentiation of viscera and meridians)and 31 cases were in the control group(acupuncture treatment based on the differentiation of viscera,compared the two groups patients with gender,age,courses of the disease,the result show that there were no statistically significant difference after statistics analysis,which means two groups data were comparable.(1)After a course of treatment,the treatment group have 14 cases of markedly effect,17 cases of effective,3cases of ineffective,the total effective rate was 91.18%,while the control group have 6 cases of markedly effect,15 casesof effective,10 cases of ineffective,the total effective rate was 67.74%.There was statistically significant difference in two groups(P<0.05).Treatments in the two groups all had efficacy on allergic rhinitis,however,the total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.(2)Signs and symptoms of quantitative: Compared two groups of symptoms of quantitative: Compared two groups of Signs and symptoms of patients with quantitative evaluation,the result showe that there was statistically significant difference in the two groups after 1course treatment(P<0.05)?Conclusions:(1)The efficacy of acupuncture treatment based on the differentiation of viscera and meridians was better than that of conventional acupuncture treatment.(2)The clinical curative effect of acupuncture treatment based on the differentiation of viscera and meridians on allergic rhinitis is exact,and its dialectical method is novelty practical,which is worthy of further promotion.
