Clinical Observation On Treating Menopausal Syndrome By Acupuncture With Cunkou Pulse Viscera And Meridian Syndrome Differentiation

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture based on the differentiation of viscera and meridians on the treatment of menopausal syndrome,and to provide new methods and ideas for the treatment of menopausal syndrome.Methods: 70 patients who met the diagnosis and inclusion criteria of menopausal syndrome were randomly divided into two groups,each group had 35 cases.Acupuncture based on the differentiation of viscera and meridians were given in the treatment group: acupoint treatment was in accordance with the symptoms of menopausal syndrome in patients with deficiency and excess of viscera and meridians,as well as the principle of“pulse,symptom,acupoint”.The control group was treated with conventional acupuncture treatment,selection of acupoints was in accordance with the treatment of menopausal syndrome mentioned in National Chinese Medicine Industry Higher Education the 12 th Five-Year Planning Textbook "Acupuncture Therapeutics".Patients in both groups were treated three times a week,12 times as a course;a week of rest after the first course and then for another course,a total of two courses.Changes in modified Kupperman scale score,serum estradiol(E2),luteinizing hormone(LH)and follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)content before and after the treatment were observed and the overall efficacy of the two groups was evaluated according to the standard of curative effect evaluation.Results: 60 cases who met the diagnosis and inclusion criteria of menopausal syndrome and completed the course were subjects,among them,31 cases were in the treatment group(acupuncture treatment based on the differentiation of viscera and meridians)and 29 cases were in the control group(conventional acupuncture treatment).1.The improvements of Kupperman score,dizziness,osteoarthritis,headache and ants feelings were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).2.After treatment,the serum estradiol(E2)level in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).3.Treatments in the two groups all had efficacy on menopausal syndrome,however,the total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion: The efficacy of acupuncture treatment based on the differentiation of viscera and meridians was better than that of conventional acupuncture treatment.The serum E2 level increased after acupuncture treatment based on the differentiation of viscera and meridians,which was more significant than that of the conventional acupuncture treatment.The clinical curative effect of acupuncture treatment based on the differentiation of viscera and meridians on menopausal syndrome is exact,and its dialectical method is practical,which is worthy of further research and promotion.
