Study On Prescriptions And Traditional Herbs For Surgical Diseases Of Liu Juan Zi Gui Yi Fang

ObjectiveThis paper aims to provide some new therapeutic methods for modern surgical medicine through summarizing and analyzing the prescriptions and traditional herbs of Chinese medicine in Liu Juan Zi Gui Yi Fang.The research data contains the internal prescriptions and external prescriptions of surgical diseases and ulcer diseases.Using the data mining techniques can explore the core prescriptions,traditional herbs and the compatibility of formulas of Chinese medicine.MethodsCollecting and classifying the data of prescriptions and traditional herbs of Chinese medicine in Liu Juan Zi Gui Yi Fang comprehensively;setting the standards of information included and excluded;analyzing data by frequency statistics,correlation analysis and cluster analysis after logging data.Through combining the analysis results and the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,it is clear to discover the characteristics of internal and external therapy of the related diseases.At last,summarizing the author's clinical theories and experience in surgical diseases and ulcer diseases comprehensively.ResultsThis research contains 109 traditional herbs 659 times in 69 internal prescriptions.The categories of traditional herbs contain tonic herbs,heat-clear herbs,diaphoretic herbs,expectorant herbs,blood-activating herbs and so on.Through the data mining techniques,we found the internal prescriptions contain many core traditional herbs:Gancao,Danggui,Shaoyao,Renshen,Shengdihuang,Huangqin,Huangqi and so on.The common herbs pairs contain Dazao,Renshen and Gancao;Huangqi,Renshen and Gancao;Renshen,Danggui and Gancao;Shengdihuang,Danggui,Gancao and Renshen;Shengdihuang,Gancao and Renshen and so on.The book also contains 122 traditional herbs 733 times in 87 external prescriptions.The categories of traditional herbs contain tonic herbs,diaphoretic herbs,heat-clear herbs,blood-activating herbs,diarrhea herbs,vermifuge herbs and so on.The core traditional herbs contain Baizhi,Chuanxiong,Dahuang,Danggui,Shaoyao,Huanglian,Huangqin and so on.The common herbs pairs contain:Shaoyao,Chuanxiong and Danggui;Xixin,Baizhi,and Danggui;Xixin and Baizhi and so on.About internal prescriptions for ulcer diseases contain 67 traditional herbs 422 times in 37 prescriptions.The categories of traditional herbs contain tonic herbs,heat-clear herbs,expectorant herbs,draining herbs,interior warming herbs and so on.The core traditional herbs contain Gancao,Shengdihuang,Huangqi,Huangqin,Renshen,Shaoyao,Danggui and so on.The common herbs pairs contain Dazao,Renshen and Gancao;Danggui,Renshen and Gancao;Huangqi,Shengdihuang,Gancao and Renshen;Renshen,Huangqi and Gancao;Renshen,Shengdihuang and Gancao;Renshen and Gancao and so on.About external prescriptions for ulcer diseases contain 89 traditional herbs 459 times in 47 prescriptions.The categories of traditional herbs contain tonic herbs,diaphoretic herbs,heat-clear herbs,blood-activating herbs,diarrhea herbs and vermifuge herbs and so on.The core traditional herbs contain Chuanxiong,Dahuang,Danggui,Baizhi,Huangqin,Shaoyao,Gancao and so on.The common herbs pairs contain Shaoyao,Chuanxiong and Danggui;Xixin and Baizhi and so on.ConclusionsAccording to the different stage of diseases,the author usually use different treatment to cure the surgical diseases in Liu Juan Zi Gui Yi Fang.The heat toxic pathogens are always the main cause of surgical diseases.The preliminary stage of diseases usually has exterior syndromes.The author treat this condition with heat-clear herbs and diaphoretic herbs to clear heat and relieve exterior syndromes.As time goes on,the body fluid,Qi and blood were consumed gradually in intermediate stage.This period usually be treated with heat-clear and tonic herbs to strengthen body resistance and eliminate evils.In the later period,the ulcer is ulcerated.It is the best time to use a large number of tonic herbs to repair the open sores and recuperate the patients in time.The factor of ulcer diseases is heat.The pathogenesis of ulcer is the heat evil damage the skin and muscle.At the preliminary stage,the excess heat affect the exterior."Xiao" is the characteristic way to clear heat and relieve exterior syndromes.Then,the author use heat-clear methods which names "Tuo" to expel pus.And "Tuo" is the characteristic method at the intermediate stage,which has the swell skin and pus.In the later period,the wounds will fester if the treatments are not effective.It is necessary to take a tonic to strengthen the body in time."Bu" is the best method to tonify Qi and blood.
