Lei Feng , the author of Treatise on Seasonal Diseases, was a experienced famous doctor in the treatment of epidemic febrile disease in Qing dynasty. He pointed out the difference between exogenous febrile and epidemic febrile disease. In choosing formulas, he not only inherited the classic thought and other famous doctors' experience in Yellow Emperor 's Canon of Medicine, Treatise on Exogenous Febrile and so on, but also invented so many effective formulas according to fundamental theory of TCM. In addition, Lei Feng put emphasis on syndromes differentiation according to seasonal changes. In short, Lei Feng provided a special theory system for TCM clinical and left us valuable practical experience. This thesis discusses his thought through documentary study. By studying his left cases and formulas, we could find the regularity in his formulas.Based on systematic analysis of etiological factor, elementary effect mechanism, systematically analyzing principles, prescriptions combined with modern method of pharmacology of traditional Chinese medical formula, the thesis analyzes prescriptions recorded in Treatise on Seasonal Diseases. The principles of organizing prescription are severe and cautious. The primary characteristic is integrity. The thesis selected 60 formulas to induce systematically and analyze detailedly. 149 herbs were quoted in this book and appear 437 vices, we can discern his agility of treatment and abundance of medication.The thesis aims to help physicians engaged in traditional Chinese medicine to know deeply about Lei Feng's opinion and acquire valuable knowledge in pathogenesis, therapeutic methods. so they can enrich the research on basic theories, diagnosis and treatment.
