Objective Schizophrenia is a group of mental diseases associated with impairment of cognitive function.Due to the impact of social stereotypes and culture, the public often has negative cognition of patients with mental illness.Schizophrenia patients affected by their own emotions, their cognitive, life, social and other functions will have an impact, language, memory and executive function decline so that patients with impaired self-compassion,a sense of shame. Therefore, psychological intervention and schizophrenia require long-term medical treatment is equally important.Mindfulness cognitive therapy is widely used in clinical practice and recognized in recent years, one of the interventions, can effectively improve the psychological negative emotions and bad cognition. At the same time, some foreign studies have initially shown that there is a certain correlation between the level of self-compassion and the degree of cognitive impairment in schizophrenia. However, there is no correlation between the severity of stigma and the level of self-compassion in patients with schizophrenia Class research. This study mainly used two methods to explore the cognitive impairment of schizophrenia.Study one is to compare the characteristics of self-compassion in patients with schizophrenia, and to explore the characteristics of self-compassion and relationships with stigma experience condition in schizophrenia patients.Study two is to investigate effect of mindfulness therapy on self-compassion and stigma in patients with schizophrenia.Method In study one,one hundred schizophrenia patients and 151 healthy subjects were assessed with Chinese Version of Revised Self-Compassion Scale(SCS-C),meanwhile patients with schizophrenia assessed with Chinese version of Link stigma scale. In study two,60 patients with schizophrenia treated in our hospital from March 2017 to September 2017 were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group by digital table with 30 cases in each group according to the sequence of patients admitted to hospital for diagnosis and treatment. The patients in the control group were treated with conventional nursing and the patients in the observation group were treated with mindfulness therapy on the basis of the control group. Then the changes of self-compassion and stigma before and after the two groups were compared.Result In study one,the patients had significantly lower SCS-C total scores and the subscores of self-kindness,common humanity and mindfulness than those of healthy subjects(P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that in the patients group, the scores of stigma were significantly negatively correlated with the SCS-C scores(r=-0.682,P<0.001),with self-kindness scores(r=-0.483,P<0.001),with common humanity scores(r=-0.527,P<0.001),with mindfulness scores(r=-0.492,P<0.001),and self-kindness scores were significantly negatively correlated with Stigma-Related Feelings Scales(r=-0.201,P=0.045).In study two, after intervention, the SCS-C score of the observation group was significantly higher than that before intervention, and the self friendliness, universal humanity and mindfulness score increased significantly(P<0.05).The changed degree of SCS-C score in the observation group were significantly larger than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of Link after treatment in both groups were significantly changed, showing a significant downward trend, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After theraping, the Link score in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In study one, schizophrenia patients have self-compassion deficits. The levels of self-compassion levels had a negative correlation with stigma experience, which further suggesting the clinical importance of psychological intervention in self-compassion of schizophrenia patients. In study two,Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy can effectively reduce the stigma and raise self-compassion of schizophrenia patients.
