Since our country entered the aging society,the number of the aging population is larger and larger.Data showed that,by the end of 2015,the proportion of the elderly population over the age of 65 in China has accounted for 10.5%of the total population,and the number was still rising.With the age increasing,the physiological function of the elderly weakened.So,taking care for the elderly has already become a very meaningful thing.Studies have shown that:the incidence of chronic diseases in the aged group was higher than that of the general group and the main source of external injuries to the elderly is fall down.Early detection and timely containment are effective ways to prevent chronic diseases,but there are many challenges,such as going out inconveniently,the burden of body and economy,for the elderly to do that.Although there are many fall detection methods,but the high supporting facilities to make it difficult to enter the homes of ordinary people.Based on the above considerations,this thesis researches the problem combined with the embedded technology,communication technology and other technologies and realizes a monitoring system which based on ARM9 CPU,WiFi and OpenCV library.Because of the system,the security of the elderly living alone can get a certain degree of protection.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the status of family monitoring,and puts forward the scheme design in the analysis of the problem and the understanding of the existing technology.Secondly,the whole scheme of the system is introduced.The system includes two main function modules which are the control module and data acquisition module,and in the framework of two modules,the hardware circuits and the softwares are introduced.Among them,in the hardware circuit,the power circuit,the serial debug circuit,the WiFi module interface circuit,the USB interface circuit are designed in the control unit module and the JTAG debug circuit,the sensor interface circuit and the WiFi module interface circuit are designed in the data acquisition unit.In the software,this thesis realizes the serial port driver based on asynchronous notification and USB industrial camera driver in the kernel and in the user space this thesis realizes the reception and processing of serial port data and camera data.The user space program mainly includes the fall detection algorithm implementation based on OpenCV and GUI(Graphical User Interface)implementation.Finally,the function of the system is tested and verified,and the conclusion and prospect are made.The embedded monitoring system realized in the thesis uses wireless communication which will not affect the elderly normal activities.The system are easy to expansion function and recognized by the market because WiFi is a mature technology.Besides,using of the ARM processor reduces the cost.This system is of great significance to the miniaturization and diversification of the family monitoring system.
