Objective: To describe the status of stigma in postoperative breast cancer patients,to explore the influencing factors of stigma,to understand the self-esteem level and social support level of breast cancer patients and their correlation with shame sense,to provide the basis for clinical nursing and nursing research.Thereby,reducing the patient's sense of shame,and promote rehabilitation.Methods: The study period was from May 2016 to October 2016,and the subjects were hospitalized patients of Hunan provincial people's Hospital and Hunan Tumor Hospital.Randomized sampling was used to randomly select 190 subjects who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.The general information questionnaire,Social Impact Scale,Social Support Rating Scale,The self-Esteem Scale were used for investigation and analysis.Statistic analysis were performed with SpSS 22.0 Chinese version.Statistical methods included descriptive statistical analysis,t-test,Spearman correlation,analysis of variance and multiple linear regression analysis.Result: 1.The total score of all dimensions of postoperative stigma of patients with breast cancer was(59.02±8.27)points.2.The score of social support was(45.04±7.60)and the score of self-esteem was(26.54±2.30).The Spearman correlation analysis showed that the social support was negatively correlated with stigma,the correlation coefficient was-0.464,the difference was statistically significant(p <0.05).There was no significant correlation between self-esteem and stigma(p>0.05).3.Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in the degree of disgrace between different marital status,occupation,educational level,household per capita monthly income,family residence,medical expenses,caregivers,and surgical methods(p <0.05).4.Logistic regression analysis showed that the total score of patients with breast cancer was mainly affected by the level of education,the way of operation and the level of social support.Conclusion: 1.Stigma is common among postoperative breast cancer patients,which has negative effect on their life.2.There was a negative correlation between postoperative shame and social support.The more social support was received,the lower the sense of stigma was.3.Logistic regression analysis showed that the degree of education,the mode of operation and the level of social support were the main factors influencing the sense of stigma.The marital status and social support were the protective factors and the surgical method was the risk factor.
