Antrodia camphorata?AC?is a new type of fungus which was discovered for the first time in 1990 in Taiwan.Active ingredients in AC,such as ubiquinones,triterpenoids and polysaccharides,show anti-inflammatory,anti-cancer,antioxidant and liver-protecting activities in modern pharmacological studies.1,4-benzoquinone s showed good antitumor and anti-inflammatory activities in wild AC,while there is no research about benzoquinones in solid-state fermented AC.Therefore,the powder of solid-state femented AC mycelium and fruit body was extracted with 95% ethanol and the extract was suspended in water and extracted by EtOAc in this study.The concentrated EtOAc fraction was separated by silica gel column chromatography,Sephadex LH-20,preparative HPLC,respectively,and 7 compounds were received.Then,1H-NMR and 13C-NMR were used to identify the structure of these compounds and the results are listed as followed:?2'E,6'E?-2-?3,7,11-trimethyldodeca-2,6,10-trienyl?-3-methyl-5,6-dimethoxy-1,4-benzoquinone?UbiquinoneQ3??1?,2-ethoxy-3–methoxy-6-menthyl-5-[?2E,6E?-3,7,11-trimethyldodeca-2,6,10-trienyl]-1,4-benzoquinone?2?,2-ethoxy-3-methoxy-5-methyl-6-[?2E,6E?-3,7,11-trimethyldodeca-2,6,10-trienyl)-l,4-benzoquinone?3?,5-methoxy-3-methyl-2-??2E,6E?-3,7,11-trimethyldodeca-2,6,10-trienyl?-l,4-benzoquinone?4?,2,3-dimethoxy-5-methyl-l,4-benzoquinone?Ubiquinone Q0??5?,2,3,5-trimethoxy-6-methyl-l,4-benzoquinone?6?and 2,3,6-trimethoxy-4-methylphenol?7?.Among them,the compound 2,3,4 and 6 are separat-ed from AC for the first time.The compound 5 and 7 are also found in wild AC and showed anticancer activity in previous studies.As the result,this solid-state AC may have the same anticancer activity as the wild.This study lays the foundation for the reasonability of solid-state fermented AC instead of the wild ones,and for the material basis of AC pharmacological activity study and futher researches and drug development in this study.
