The Moden Literature Research Of Applying Dang Gui Shao Yao Powder And Gui Zhi Fu Ling Pill To Treat Ovarian Cyst

Ovarian cyst belongs to the field of "zheng jia"?"ji ju" and "chang tan" in TCM.Agglomerating in the uterus accompanied pain,distension,fullness or hemorrhage is called zheng jia,and agglomerating in the uterus collateral is named as chang tan.The formation of cyst is related with Qi stagnation arose from damage of seven emotions and depression of liver Qi,blood stasis caused by intruding pathogenic wind and cold or phlegm-dampness resulted from spleen deficiency in nature,improper diet,damp stay and turn into phlegm in vivo.Then the Qi,blood and phlegm are integrated with each other in the uterus collateral and the ovarian cyst take shape.Therefore,Qi stagnation and blood stasis is the main pathogenesis and the Qi,blood and phlegm is not only the etiology but also the pathological products of ovarian cyst,which is interlaced and is difficult to treat.Therapeutically,the cyst or called zheng jia should be calmed slowly to ensure the origin of the body is intact.On the other hand,viscera need to be smoothed that the Qi,blood and body fluid could circulate on their own ways,which could decrease recurrence rate of ovarian cyst.Dang gui shao yao powder and gui zhi fu ling pill come from Synopsis of Golden Chamber written by Zhongjing Zhang,which are siginificant prescriptions to treat gynecologic abdominal pain,irregular menstruation,ovarian cyst,dysmenorrhea,body pain after parturition,galactophore flocculus hyperplasia and so on caused by zheng jia or ji ju.There are numerous researches about applying dang gui shao yao powder and gui zhi fu ling pill to treat ovarian cyst in clinic,however,the combination of classical prescriptions and the addition and subtraction of Chinese herbs are so various that the curative effect is very different.Based on the above,this research take the method of literature review to consult,analyze and summarize relevant literature about using dang gui shao yao powder or gui zhi fu ling pill to treat ovarian cyst in CNKI database,Wangfang database,VIP database and CBMdisc from 1984-2015 for the aim that conclude general rules from complicated treatment,provide direct substratum of utilizing dang gui shao yao powder and gui zhi fu ling pill to treat ovarian cyst in clinic,lower threshold of classical prescriptions applyment and improve clinical accuracy of TCM.Through the analysis of the finding,the study concludes:(1)There are four forms of using dang gui shao yao powder or gui zhi fu ling pill to treat ovarian cyst including supplemented dang gui shao yao powder,single gui zhi fu ling pill,supplemented gui zhi fu ling pill and classical prescriptions combination.Among them,the best form of treating ovarian cyst is supplemented gui zhi fu ling pill,whose curative effect is better than the other three(P=0.000).(2)The basic thinkings of applying dang gui shao yao powder or gui zhi fu ling pill to treat ovarian cyst are removing dampness and reducing phlegm,smoothing the liver and regulating the Qi,resolving stasis and dissolving lump.(3)Excessive phlegm-dampness,Qi-deficiency,damp-heat,Yang-deficiency and depression of liver Qi are the mainly suitable syndromes of utilizing dang gui shao yao powder and gui zhi fu ling pill to treat ovarian cyst.(4)During the process of applying dang gui shao yao powder and gui zhi fu ling pill to treat ovarian cyst,excessive phlegm-dampness indicates more semen plantaginis,coix seed,pinellia,dried tangerine or orange peel,zhejiang fritillary,cortex phellodendri and kelp.Qi-deficiency shows more astragalus and codonopsis.Damp-heat means more patrinia and sargentgloryvine stem.Yang-deficiency needs more monkshood.Depression of liver Qi requires more radix linderae and acid-insoluble ash.The heavier blood stasis,the more rhizoma sparganii,rhizoma corydalis,frankincense and rhizoma zedoariae.Pangolin,leech,turtle shell,oysters could be used to soften hardness and dissolve lump.
