Comparison Of 2/100hz And 100hz Electro-acupuncture To Muscle Rigidity Of Parkinson's Disease

Objective We research 2/1 00Hz dectro-acupuncture(EA)and 100Hz EA to seek a safe and good clinical efficacy and less side effects treatment for muscle rigidity of Parkinson's disease,in order to improve the quality of survive of PD patients.Methods By undertaking uniform diagnostic,inclusion and exclusion criteria approaches to randomly divide 61 diagnosed with Parkinson's disease patients into 2/1OOHz EA group(31 patients)and 100Hz EA group(30 patients).The patient of 2/100Hz EA group take Madopar four times a day and 125mg for each dose;but have a 30min of 2/100Hz continuous wave as auxiliary treatment 3 times a week,the main point to meridian(the upper limbs take quchi and waiguan,the lower limbs take zusanli and yangjiao).In addition for 100Hz EA group,patients follow the same dosage and points as 2/100Hz EA groups with a 30min of 100Hz continuous wave as auxiliary treatment 3 times a week.Set the treatment cycle of 90 days and after 180 days having,a return visit.We have UPDRS scores,UPDRS schedule scores and TAS scores evaluations.Score for pre-treatment,30 days of treatment,the treatment of the 90 days and 180 days of the return visit to appraise the improvement of symptoms,and its safety and compliance evaluation.Rustles For the comparison group of 2/100Hz EA,there is no significant change(P>0.05)for 30 days of treatment,but the score increased(P<0.01)for 90 days of treatment and 180 days of the return visits.For the comparison group of 100Hz EA,there is no significant change(P>0.05)for 30 days of treatment and 90 days of treatment but score for 180 days of return visits significantly increases(P<0.01).Undertake cross-comparisons between the two groups on score difference of pre-treatment in different treatment period.For 30 days treatment,the score difference is insignificant(P>0.05)between the two groups;for 90 days treatment and 180 days return visits,the score of 100Hz EA group is significantly lower(P<0.01)than 2/100Hz EA groupConclusion For taking Madopar 125mg,four times a day,the efficacy of which has loss of more than three months in patients with PD muscle rigidity,100Hz EA could effectively prevent the aggravation of the PD symptoms and alleviate the progression of the disease.The clinical efficiency of 100Hz EA is better than 2/100Hz EA.The method is effective,easy to operate,no significant side effects for the PD and has great clinical value.
