Objective:To study the clinical manifestations, auxiliary examination, treatment and prognosis of adult EB virus infection patients, summarize their characteristics, and guide clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods:Collection of data on the diagnosis of EB virus infection from January 2016 to January2018 in the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University.According to their age, they were divided into youth group(18-44 years old)in 34 cases and middle-aged group(?45 years old)in 13 cases.Analysis of patient characteristics and comparison of clinical data of patients of different ages, including patient gender, age, highest temperature, course of disease, concomitant symptoms, liver and kidney function, coagulation series, blood cell analysis, urine routine,EBV-DNA,EB antibodies and outcomed differences of two group.Normally distributed measurement data were represented by(`x±s),and detected with t test.Measured data with non-normal distribution were expressed in terms of median and interquartile range, and tested by rank sum test. The count data were expressed by the composition ratio and detected by the chi-square test.P< 0.05 was statistically significant. Results:The age distribution of the two groups, the average age of the youth group was 25.38±7.06 years, the average age of the middle and old age group was 56.15±8.63 years old. There was significant difference in gender, highest body temperature, and disease course between the adolescent group and middle-aged group(all p>0.05).The two group is associated with pharyngeal congestion, lymph node enlargement, splenomegaly was statistically significant difference(all p<0.05).The difference of matani transaminase, white blood cell between the two groups was statistically significant(all p<0.05).There was statistically significant difference between the EBEA-IgM and the positive rate of EBVCA-IgM(all p<0.05).The difference between the two groups was statisticallysignificant(all p < 0.05).Conclusion:The symptoms of fever as the first symptom in young patients with EB virus infection, accompanied by hyperemia of the pharynx, enlargement of lymph nodes, liver and spleen, are more common than those of the elderly, and may be relative to the young immune system. The auxiliary examination showed that blood images were elevated or normal, lymphocytic increase(and / or visible heterocyst),elevated EBV-DNA,elevated EB virus related antibodies and abnormal liver function and so on.EB virus infection after the routine antiviral treatment, the prognosis is good. The key to early diagnosis and treatment is to fully understand the clinical features of EB virus infection.
