Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of infantile tuina "cough-vomit-promoting" method treatment of cough due to external invasion in children and explore a practical and effective, easily popularizing infantile tuina formula.Method:Choose exogenous cough pediatric patient as subject, include 72 cases with infantile exogenous cough according to criteria, and divide them into two groups(36 cases in each group)according to random number table, with group A(control group)treated by basic infantile tuina formula combined with points for syndrome differentiation, and group B(treatment group)treated by basic infantile tuina formula combined with " cough-vomit-promoting " method.Apply manipulations in both two groups respectively for 1 course of treatment.Select cough, sputum, physical signs of lung,as well as other clinical symptoms and signs as observation index, and then set comprehensive assessment grade for symptoms and signs before and after treatment.Observe therapeutic effect, changes of grades in symptoms and signs in two groups before and after treatment, and value the clinical efficacy and safety.Result:1.Among 72 cases in the study,8 were lost, results in 64 cases completing the test in total,32 cases in each group.2.The baselines of the general data were no different between the 2 groups(demographic data, disease data are comparable,P >0.05).3.Comparison in therapeutic effect: total effective rate in the control group is 84.375%,and 93.75% in treatment group,no statistical difference(P < 0.05).4.Comparison in symptom grade: compare total grade and major symptom grade between two groups, the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05);Compare minor symptom grade between two groups, there is no statistical difference(P > 0.05).(3)compare each symptom grade within both groups, all indexes are statistically significant differences except for fever which is a minor symptom(P<0.01).For symptom grade in fever in treatment group before and after treatment, there was no statistically significant difference(P> 0.05).Compare each symptom grade in the two groups after treatment, there is statistically significant difference in major symptom grade comparison(P<0.05).Comparison in effect of alleviate cough frequency and sputum is statistically significant(P<0.01).Comparison in minor symptom grades shows no statistical difference(P > 0.05).5.Comparison in total grades of different syndrome shows that the treatment group were more effective than control group, the difference statistically significant(P< 0.05).While comparison in effective rate among different syndromes in treatment group after treatment, there was no statistically significant difference(P> 0.05).Conclusion:1.The “cough-vomit-promoting” treatment in infantile tuina for cough shows better therapeutic effect than traditional syndrome differentiation treatment for pediatric cough due to external invasion. There is equivalent effect in pediatric cough with different syndromes of cold,wind-heat syndrome.2.The “cough-vomit-promoting” treatment in infantile tuina shows significant effect for pediatric cough due to external invasion, which can relieve clinical symptoms and signs, and is safe and reliable, worthy clinical popularization.
