Clinical Observation On Press Needle Treatment Of Visual Display Terminal Asthenopia

Objective: Observe the clinical curative effect of Press needle and Pearl Clear-sighted Eye Drops in treatment of Visual Display Terminal asthenopia(VDT),and explore the mechanism of it initially.Methods: There are114 patients(228eyes)with VDT asthenopia who were enrolled and treated in the Eye clinic of affiliated hospital of Chengdu University of TCM.According to the same inclusion and exclusion criteria.They were divided into three groups : test group 1,test group 2,control group,according to Treatment orde of Completely random.The test group 1 was treated with Press needle(bilateral cuanzhu,sibai,sizhukong)and Pearl Clear-sighted Eye Drops.The test group 2 was treated with Press needle(bilateral cuanzhu,sibai,sizhukong).The control group was treated with Pearl Clear-sighted Eye Drops.Treatment for 30 days.Short-distance use of eyes time,symptoms of Ocular and Systemic and Schirmer I test(SIt),Corneal fluorescein staining(CFS),Tear film break-up time(BUT),symptom score were observed and measured before and after treatment.Results:(1)Before treatment,the differences had no statistical significance in the sexes,age,the symptoms of western medicine and TCM,and the VDT asthenopia related indicators between two groups(P > 0.05),the three groups were comparable.(2)Corneal fluorescein staining,Schirmer I test were significantly different after comprehensive treatment of VDT patients(P<0.01);tear film break-up time,Short-distance use of eyes time were also impoved(P < 0.05);Symptom score was also different after comprehensive treatment(P < 0.05).(3)The efficacy of TCM :The excellent rate of control group is 5.56%,16.22% for test group 2 and 21.95% for test group 1 after treatment.The effectiv rate of control group is 58.33%,64.86% for test group 2 and 68.29% for test group 1 after treatment.The total effective rate of control group is 63.89%,81.08%for test group 2 and 90.24%for test group 1 after treatment.Three groups was pairwise comparison after the Treatment,the effect of test group 1 was significantly better than test group 2(P < 0.05),test group 1was significantly better than control group(P < 0.01),test group 2 was better than control group(P < 0.05),however,test group 1 was best.(4)The efficacy of western medicine :The excellent rate of control group is 2.78%,10.81% for test group 2 and 19.51% for test group 1 after treatment.The effectiv rate of control group 1 is 52.78%,59.46% for test group 2 and 63.41% for test group 1 after treatment.The total effective rate of control group is 55.56%,70.27% for test group 2 and82.93% for test group 1 after treatment.Three groups was pairwise comparison after treatment,the effect of test group 2 was better than control group(P < 0.05),test group 1was significantly better than control group(P < 0.01),test group 1 was better than test group 2(P < 0.05),however,test group 1 was best.Conclusion: The Visual Display Terminal asthenopia(VDT)was significant effect get through Press needle and Pearl Clear-sighted Eye Drops therapy,symptoms of ocular was reduced,the method should be promoted in clinical.
