Clinical Observation Of Saccharomyces Boulardii Powder Combined With Clostridum Butyricum Capsule In The Treatment Of Patients With Chronic Diarrhea

Objective:Evaluate the number of diarrhoea and fecal traits,total efficiency and adverse drug reactions before and after the treatment of saccharomyces boulardii powder group and saccharomyces boulardii powder combined with clostridum butyricum capsule group in order to observate the clinical efficacy of saccharomyces boulardii powder combined with clostridum butyricum capsule in the treatment of chronic diarrhea.Methods:To collect chronic diarrhea patients(Routine examination,occult blood,stool culture and drug sensitivity were not found in the laboratory tests,and all of them met the diagnostic criteria of "Rome III: functional diarrhea".)in Department of Gastroenterology,First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University.The group was randomly divided into 2groups : saccharomyces boulardii powder(0.5g/ times,2 times / day)group and saccharomyces boulardii powder(0.5g/ times,2 times / day)combined with clostridum butyricum capsule(1260mg/ times,2 times / day),and the two groups were all oral after meals for 2 weeks.Evaluate the two groups' scores of the number of diarrhoea and stool traits before and after treatment,total efficiency and adverse reactions.Results:1.In saccharomyces boulardii powder group,the scores' difference of the number of diarrhoea and stool traits before and after treatment was statistically significant(P <0.05).2.In saccharomyces boulardii powder combined with clostridum butyricum capsule group,the scores' difference of the number of diarrhoea and stool traits before and aftertreatment was statistically significant(P < 0.01).3.In saccharomyces boulardii powder group and saccharomyces boulardii powder combined with clostridum butyricum capsule group,the total improvement rate was respectively 67.74%,90.48%,with statistical difference(P < 0.05).4.During the treatment,two groups of patients had no adverse reactions to systemic allergic reactions,urticaria,constipation,dry mouth.Conclusion:Combined therapy of saccharomyces boulardii powder and clostridum butyricum capsule was superior to the use of saccharomyces boulardii powder in patients with chronic diarrhea and had a good safety.
