Objective:The epidemiological characteristics of different parts of gastric cancer were analyzed, and the correlation between different parts of gastric cancer and atrophic gastritis was discussed, which provided a reference for clinical prevention and discovery of early gastric cancer. Methods:From January 2006 to December 2015,in the gastroscopy center of the Shanxi Provincial People's Hospital,1993 cases of gastric cancer were collected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The general data, site of occurrence, degree of atrophy, and the status of Helicobacter pylori infection were analyzed retrospectively. Results:The sex composition ratio of men and women in gastric cancer patients was 3.18:1.Male patients with gastric cancer at each site were more than female patients, and male patients with gastric cancer at the bottom and the cardia stomach were significantly more than women(P <0.01).There were 1039 cases(52.13 %)of gastric cancer in the bottom and the cardia stomach,of which 309 cases suffered from atrophic gastritis, and the average score of atrophic gastritis was 1.56±0.54.There were 361 cases of gastric carcinoma, including 198 cases of atrophic gastritis, and the average score of atrophic gastritis was 2.31±0.48.There were 593 cases of gastric sinus cancer, including 415 cases of chronic atrophic gastritis, accounting for 69.98%,and the average score ofchronic atrophic gastritis was 4.34±0.51.The difference in the proportion of chronic atrophic gastritis in different sites of carcinoma is statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:The number of atrophic gastritis in gastric sinus cancer is large, and the degree of atrophy is heavy, and atrophy may be related.Cardia and bottom cancer is the most common, but the number of cases of combined atrophic gastritis is small, and the degree of atrophy is light. It is not related to the atrophy of gastric mucosa, and is more likely to be related to other risk factors such as smoking, drinking, and gastroesophageal reflux disease. In the gastroscopy examination, attention should be paid to the observation of the bottom of the stomach of the cardia. When there is atrophy, more attention should be paid to the observation of the gastric sinus.
