Clinical Research Of Integrated Therapy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetes Distal Symmetry Polyneuropathy(DSPN)

Objective:To explore a confirmed,effective,simple and easy to popularize comprehensive treatment of TCM by observing and comparing the clinical efficacy and safety between integrated therapy of TCM and western medicine routine treatment in patients with Type 2 Diabetic Distal Symmetric Polyneuropathy(DSPN)with clinical through clinical randomized controlled trials.Methods:The 80 patients who matched the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The two groups were treated with basic intervention measures,the treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine,local skin needle tapping and cupping for 4 weeks,and the control group was treated with conventional western medicine for 4 weeks.The TCM symptom score and Nerve Conduction Velocity(NCV),Michigan Diabetic Neuropathy Score(MDNS)and blood glucose as observation indexes,and evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety.Results:1.Clinical Efficacy(1)TCM symptom score: comparison of two groups of patients within the group,in addition to symptoms of muscle atrophy(P > 0.05),the symptom scores were significantly improved(P < 0.05);comparison between groups,limb pain,limb numbness and hypoesthesia soft symptom scores of the treatment group improved more significantly(P < 0.05).(2)NCV:comparison of two groups of NCV cases with abnormal array after treatment,the treatment group in addition to Sensory Nerve Conduction Velocity(SCV)of the median nerve and superficial peroneal nerve SCV improved significantly(P < 0.05),the comparisons of the rest within group and between the two groups were no significant differences.But the two groups of abnormal NCV after treatment group compared,faster than before(P < 0.05);comparison between groups,the treatmentgroup improved more significantly,in addition to the Motor Nerve Conduction Velocity(MCV)of common peroneal nerve(P > 0.05),the rest of the NCV were significant differences between two groups.(3)MDNS:each score and total scores of the patients in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05);the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group after treatment(P < 0.05).(4)Blood Glucose:the Fasting Blood Glucose(FBG)and 2 hours Postprandial Blood Glucose(PBG)of the 2 groups after treatment were lower than those before treatmen(P < 0.05);but the comparison between groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).2.Safety:Integrated therapy of TCM has high safety,no adverse reactions.Conclusion:1."Chinese medicine + local skin needle tapping + back cupping" scheme can effectively improve patients with DSPN clinical symptoms,especially pain in the limbs,hypoesthesia,symptoms of numbness of limb soft,and can effectively improve the patients signs,improve nerve conduction velocity in patients,and will not cause patients with elevated blood sugar.2.As a green environmental protection therapy,integrated therapy of TCM has the advantages of convenient operation,high safety,less adverse reaction,definite curative effect,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
