Based On The Theory Of “Treating Sinew For Bone Disease”,Exploring “Relax Sinew” Tuina To The Curative Effect Of Knee Osteoarthritis In The Clinical

Objective: knee osteoarthritis is a disease which is mainly the lesion of knee cartilage and subchondral,having a chronic,latent and progressive.Most caught by old people,and with the aggravation of population ageing,the morbidity of knee osteoarthritis increases gradually year by year,knee osteoarthritis has a high rate to be disability.It seriously affect the patients quality of life,and bring heavy economic burden to the patients and society.Currently,there is no effective drugs or treatment for knee osteoarthritis in China or abroad.Tuina which is one of the traditional Chinese medicine characteristics of orthopedics is a method to treat knee osteoarthritis.This study based on the theory of “Treating Sinew for Bone Disease”,observating “relax sinew” tuina to the curative effect of knee osteoarthritis in the clinical provides objective clinical basis for tuina treatment to knee osteoarthritis.methods: 60 cases which is conformity of the traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine diagnostic standards and exclusion criteria,60 cases were randomly divided into microwave therapy group(control group),“relax sinew” tuina therapy group(treatment group),30 cases in each group,the treatment group was treated by“relax sinew” tuina which is selected specific acupoints,treat once a day,thirty minutes for a time,one week is a course;the control group was treated by the Microwave therapeutic apparatus and functional exercise,treat once a day,thirty minutes for a time,one week is a course,two courses are needed in all;two courses are needed in all.Evaluation time: one day before the treatment,one week and two weeks after the treatment,including knee swelling,pain(Visual Analogue Scale)and The Lysholm knee score.Results:(1)There was no statistical significance of the difference between the two groups in gender,age,knee swelling,pain and The Lysholm knee score(P>0.05).(2)One week after the treatment,comparison in one group,the patients no matter in the control group or in the treatment group were all better than those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);comparison betweengroups,there was no difference between the two groups in the knee swelling,pain(Visual Analogue Scale)and The Lysholm knee score,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);(3)Two weeks after the treatment,comparison in one group,in contrast to One weeks after the treatment,the treatment group showed improvement in knee swelling,pain(Visual Analogue Scale)and Lysholm knee score,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the control group improved in pain(Visual Analogue Scale)and Lysholm knee score were improved,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),but no significant improvement in knee swelling,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);comparison between groups,the treatment group in the knee swelling,pain(Visual Analogue Scale)and The Lysholm knee score is superior to the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: “relax sinew” tuina as the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine treatment,the effect on knee osteoarthritis was exact curative,tuina can promote qi and blood circulation to relieve pain,remove meridian obstruction.Tuina adjusts the state in knee joints by external mechanical factor in order to improve knee function,relieve knee swelling and pain.the patient's tolerance is good,the effect is curiative and the advantages are obvious,so it's worthy to promote and apply.
