Abstract/Summary:
Objective: In elderly essential hypertension with sleep disorder as the research object, use the clinical randomized controlled trial analysis sleep quality and inflammatory reaction, cerebral blood flow, blood pressure control, lipid metabolism, etc. To explore the effect of Taichi on the sleep quality of the elderly patients with essential hypertension, and to provide the traditional rehabilitation method with scientific basis for the improvement of sleep disorders in elderly patients with essential hypertension. Methods: A total of 75 subjects with elderly primary hypertension with sleep disorder were included in the study, and 38 participants were randomly divided into the Tai chi group and the exercise control group. The Tai chi group has Tai chi for one hour each time, three times a week for 16 weeks, with a total of 48 times. The first two weeks are teaching of Tai chi.The exercise control group required one hour of regular walking exercise equivalent to one hour of tai chi exercise, three times a week for 16 weeks, total 48 times.Subjects in both groups remained unchanged and were subject to intervention. The data were collected before and after the intervention, including fasting total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density cholesterol(HDL-C),low density cholesterol(LDL-C),blood routine examination,C-reactive protein(CRP);High blood pressure disease classification quantification standard, the quality of life scale duchenne hypertension, geriatric depression scale, the Zung’s anxiety self-assessment scale(SAS),Athens insomnia scale(AIS)and the Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale score(PSQI);Transcranial doppler(TCD)examination, etc.During the 16-week intervention, the fasting blood glucose and blood pressure were measured at 7:20am to 8pm every Friday, and 16 times were measured. Results: 1.The baselines of subjects in both groups were comparable(P>0.05)。2.Quantitative criteria for the classification of hypertension symptoms and duchenne hypertension life quality scale: After the intervention, both the Quantitative criteria for the classification of hypertension symptoms and duchenne hypertension life quality scale decreased. The Tai chi group has statistical significance. It is indicated that Tai chi can improve the clinical symptoms and the quality of daily life in elderly patients with essential hypertension(P<0.05).SAS and GDS:SAS of Tai chi group and GDS were statistically significant before intervention. There was no statistically significant difference in the exercise control group(P>0.05).3.AIS and PSQI: The improvement of AIS and PSQI in Tai Chi was statistically significant(P<0.05),while the exercise control group had no significant difference in the improvement of AIS and PSQI(P>0.05).4.NLR、CRP、hs-CRP: Through 16 weeks of intervention, the values of NLR and hs-CRP in the Tai chi group and the exercise control group decreased. The abnormal rates of CRP in both groups also decreased. However, the decrease of hs-crp 、NLR and abnormal rates of CRP only in Tai chi group was statistically significant.5.TC、TG、HDL-C、LDL-C:the TC and TG of Tai Chi group were lower than those before the treatment, and there was significant difference in statistics(P<0.05).The changes of TC,TG 、HDL-C and LDL-C in the exercise control group were not significantly different(P>0.05).There was a certain increase in HDL-C in Tai chi group after intervention, but were not significantly different.6.BA、VA:After intervention, the VA in the systolic(Vp)and the right side of the BA in the systolic(Vp)had a statistically significant increase in blood flow velocity. The cerebral blood flow rate of the remaining vessels in the two groups increased, but P>0.05 was not statistically significant.7.Blood pressure: The SBP of the two groups was significantly different after different exercise intervention. There was no statistically significant differencebetween the DBP of the two groups.Compared with SBP in the two groups after the intervention, the SBP of the Tai Chi group was significantly lower than the SBP in the exercise control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.Tai Chi can significantly improve the clinical symptom and the quality of life in elderly patients with essential hypertension.2.Tai Chi can improve the quality of sleep in elderly patients with essential hypertension and improve their emotional state.3.Tai Chi is helpful to reduce diastolic blood pressure in elderly patients with essential hypertension...
