Clinical Observation Of Jiawei Sijunzi Decoction Combined With External High- Frequency Thermotherapy To Treat Advanced Colorectal Cancer (Qi-deficiency And Blood-stasis Syndrome)

Objective: To observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Jiawei Sijunzi Decoction combined with external high frequency thermotherapy and Jiawei Sijunzi Decoction in the treatment of the patients diagnosed with advanced colorectal cancer(QI deficiency and blood stasis syndrome).Method: The 66 patients diagnosed with advanced colorectal cancer(qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndrome)were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each group includes 33 cases.The treatment group was treated by combination therapy with Jiawei Sijunzi Decoction and external high frequency thermotherapy.The control group was treated with Jiawei Sijunzi Decoction.There were 35 days course of treatment in each groups.Then compared the changes such as the total scores of TCM syndrome?single TCM symptom score?KPS and QOL scores,weight changes after treatment,tumor markers(CEA ?CA125 and CA199)and adverse reactions in the two groups.Analyze the differences of the datum according to the statistics.Results: This study included 66 cases,excluding 5 example shedding.Finally 61 people were brought into statistical analysis,the treatment group includes 31 cases,the control group includes 30 cases.The comparison between the two groups showed that:1.General: There was little significant difference on gender,age,weight before treatment,tumor origin,tumor markers,KPS scores,QOL scores,the total scores of TCM syndrome,single TCM symptom score(P>0.05).2.The total scores of TCM syndrome:(1)Group comparison: Two treatments can reduce the total score of TCM syndromes and the single TCM syndromes score(P<0.05).(2)Comparison between two groups: The total scores of TCM syndrome in the treatment group decreased after treatment was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The treatment group in individual symptoms such as abdominal pain,stool abnormalities,tenesmus,abdominal distension,shortness of breath,the effect is better than the control group(P?0.05),but in the aspects of physically and mentally fatigued,less gas lazy words,anorexia,abdominal distension,spontaneous sweating,facial discomfort,and tongue pulse,the two groups of curative effect is the same(P>0.05).3.Quality of life rating(KPS,QOL):(1)Group comparison: Both the two treatments can improve the patient's quality of life score(p<0.05).(2)Comparison between two groups: The quality of life score in treatment group was better than in control group(p?0.05).4.The comparison of weight after treatment: Group comparison: The treatment group both in the weight stability rate and in the increase rate are better than the control group(p<0.05).4.Tumor markers(CEA??CA125 and CA199):(1)Group comparison: Treatment group can reduce tumor markers in patients(CEA,CA125 and CA199)level(p<0.05),but the control group can't reduce them(P >0.05).(2)Comparison between two groups: The treatment group was better than the control group in reducing tumor markers(p<0.05).5.Tumor lesions: There was no statistical difference between the treating group and the control group about the effective and stable rate of tumor solidification(P>0.05).6.The occurrence rate of adverse reactions are respectively 3.23%?3.33% in the treating group and the control group,which is no significant efficiency.(P>0.05).Conclusion: Both the treatment group(Jiawei Sijunzi Decoction combined with external high frequency thermotherapy)and the control group(Jiawei Sijunzi Decoction)can reduce the scores of TCM syndrome and improve the quality of life about the patients diagnosed with advanced colorectal cancer(QI deficiency and blood stasis syndrome).Compared with the control group,the treatment group had the advantage of reducing tumor markers and stabilizing the patient's weight.
