| Objective: To investigate and evaluate the core competence of the nurse practitioner in Chongqing,so as to improve the admittance,training and evaluation of specialized nurses.Methods:(1)using Delphi expert consultation for colostomy specialist nurse wound core competence evaluation questionnaire,the selection of nursing management,clinical nursing,nursing education,and two rounds of enquiry for 13 experts in clinical medical-related fields.(2)The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested by the retest reliability,the internal consistency reliability,the structure validity and the content validity.(3)The core competence of 141 WOCN in Chongqing training base was investigated by means of objective sampling.Results: 1.The evaluation index of WOCN core competence includes clinical practice ability,communication ability,critical thinking ability,management ability,professional development ability,and 48 items.The effective recovery rate of the expert consultation questionnaire is 96%,the expert authority coefficient is 0.89,and the coordination coefficient of the experts is(0.311 ~ 0.473),P<0.05.It shows that the result of expert correspondence is scientific and reliable.2.The scale retest reliability 0.89,Cronbach’s alpha coefficient 0.98,content validity 0.94 structural validity adopted factor analysis,and the scale reliability test was conducted.It indicates that the scale reliability is good.3.The results show that the self-assessment of WOCN core competence in Chongqing is divided into(2.42 + 0.83).The self-assessment score of core competence ranks from high to low as follows: communicate ability,clinical practice ability,critical thinking,professional development ability,and management ability;And from the perspective of the specialist nurses themselves whether to be trained by the specialized nursing group,qualification certification,project properties,are significantly different in the core ability of professional titles,statistically significant difference(P < 0.05).Conclusion: This study USES the Delphi expert consultation method to develop the questionnaire,and the opinions are more consistent,scientific and reliable.Application WOCN core competence questionnaire for training base in Chongqing’s 141 WOCN scale investigation,and its core competence in the medium level,suggest enhancing the professional development and the management training to improve the level of core competence. |
