Effect Of Intraoperation Dexamethasone On Blood Glucose In Diabetic Patients

Objective: To investigate the effect of dexamethasone(DEX)at a dose of 0.11 mg /kg on blood glucose in diabetic patients and to provide reference for dexamethasone anesthesia in clinical diabetic patients.Methods: Forty diabetes patients undergoing thyroidectomy under general anesthesia were randomly divided into two groups randomly according to preoperative GHb A1c(6.5%),and then divided into experimental group(group D)and And saline control group(C group),20 cases each.Group D received intravenous injection of 0.11 mg /kg DEX after induction of anesthesia,and group C received the same amount of saline in the same manner.The fasting blood glucose(T0),the blood glucose level at2h(T1),4h(T2)and 24h(T3)after operation were observed and recorded on the day of surgery.The amount of insulin used in the patient's ward and the highest score of VAS on the first postoperative day were recorded and recorded.Observation and record wound healing,infection and so on.P <0.05 for the difference was statistically significant.Results: The T0 of group C and D were respectively compared with T1,T2 and T3,and the mean of blood glucose was T2> T0(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between T1,T3 and T0(P>0.05).C?D at the same time between the two groups at the same time,T2 time point average blood glucose in group D> C group(P<0.05),with statistical significance;T0,T1,T3 time two groups of blood glucose was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion: 0.11 mg / kg dose of DEX used in patients with diabetes,blood glucose levels began to rise 4h after administration,blood glucose levels returned to preoperative levels after 24h;no peritoneal pruritus,delayed wound healing and other complications did not increase Postoperative wound infection risk,can be safely applied and clinical.
