Objective: To investigate the depression level of patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)assessed by phq9 scale and its influence on blood glucose control. Methods: GDM pregnant women who met the diagnostic criteria of International Diabetes and pregnancy research group(IADPSG)in our hospital from 2019 to 2021 were selected. At the time of initial diagnosis, the patients were assessed with depression self-assessment scale(phq9)without drug intervention, which was based on the diagnostic criteria of the American Psychiatric Association for mental diseases, and the fasting venous blood glucose(FBG),2-hour postprandial venous blood glucose(2h-PG),glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1c)and glycosylated albumin(GA)were measured. Before blood collection, the height and weight of the subjects were measured by professionals, and the basic data of the subjects were recorded, including age, education level, number of pregnancies, family history of diabetes, history of adverse pregnancy and other pregnancy complications Information such as symptoms, pregnancy methods, etc. At the end of the evaluation, the total score of phq9 scale was calculated.GDM patients with phq9 score ≥ 5 were selected as the case group, and GDM patients with phq9 score of 0-4 were selected as the control group. After that, the patients were asked to monitor their blood glucose. On the premise of no drug intervention, they visited the clinic regularly.FBG,2h-PG,Hb A1 c and GA were measured at each visit. Finally,SPSS 23.0 was used for statistical analysis of the collected data, and rank sum test was used to analyze the differences of clinical data between the two groups;Pearson correlation analysis was used to calculate the correlation between phq9 score and metabolic indicators;linear regression analysis was used to explore the influence of depression level of GDM patients evaluated by phq9 scale on blood glucose control.Result: 1.The phq9 score of the case group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.The 2h-pg of the case group was higher than that of the control group at 29-32 weeks of gestation, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.There was a linear correlation between 2 h-pg at29-32 weeks of gestation and 2 h-pg at 32 weeks of gestation and phq9 depression score, and the correlation coefficients were 0.33 and 0.412,respectively(P < 0.05).4.The higher the depression score of phq9,the higher the risk of 2h-pg increase in GDM patients from 32 weeks of gestation to prenatal, and the regression coefficient was 0.248(P < 0.05).Conclusion: With the higher phq9 depression score of GDM patients, the higher the risk of postprandial 2-hour blood glucose rise in GDM patients from 32 weeks of gestation to prenatal.
