Objective: By comparing the bone marrow edema(BME)scores of patients with knee osteoarthritis(KOA)with the pain levels, the correlation between KOA pain and BME imaging changes was explored. Methods: Collection of Zunyi first People's Hospital bone one department, bone three Out-patient clinic diagnosis and treatment of KOA patients,a total of 322 patients, which meet the inclusion criteria of 285 cases, the X-ray data using Kellgren-Lawrence(kellgren-lawrence,K/L)standard grading,On the basis of this, the patients were divided into low K-L Group,190 cases, high K-L Group,95 cases, and the MRI data were graded according to the BME size of magnetic resonance imaging(magnetic resonance IMAGING,MRI)(the depth of damage perpendicular to the adjacent articular surface).,the pain grade was divided by the VAS pain score Standard, and the corresponding pain grade data were statistically calculated.Results:1.Low K-L group, patients are different in age,and females are lower than men. There were differences in the incidence of BME between men and women in the group, and female morbidity was higher.2.In high K-L group, the patients were of different ages and females were lower than men. There was no difference in BME incidence between men and women in the group.3.In the low K-L group, the BME grade was correlated with the pain grade and was positively correlated. The level of pain gradually increased with the BME grading. In low K-L group, there was no correlation between K/L grading and pain.4.In high K-L group, the grading of bone marrow edema was correlated with the level of pain and was positively correlated. The level of pain gradually increased with the BME grading. In the high K-L group, the K/L grade was correlated with the pain grade and was positively correlated. The level of pain gradually increased with the K/L grading.Conclusion:1.BME is correlated with KOA pain grade and is positively correlated.2.In the diagnosis of KOA patients with severe pain and low K/L grade, the K/L grading is still defective.3.The results of this study suggest that MRI may contribute to the early diagnosis of osteoarthritis of the knee.
