Ginsenoside Rg3 Capsule For Knee Osteoarthritis Complicated With Bone Marrow Edema Randomized Double-blind Controlled Study

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ginsenoside Rg3 capsule in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis complicated with bone marrow edema lesion.Methods: 64 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into test group and control group,32 patients in each group.The test group was treated with ginsenoside Rg3 capsule+glucosamine sulfate,while the control group was treated with ginsenoside Rg3 capsule similar to placebo+glucosamine sulfate.The treatment course of both the test group and the control group was 3 months.SPSS 21.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis of WOMAC scale and WORMS scale data before and after treatment.Results: 1.Baseline comparison: There was no significant difference in age,sex,height and weight between the test combination control group,indicating that the two groups of patients had the same baseline in age,sex,height and weight.2.Comparison of efficacy indicators: The WOMAC scale score and WORMS scale score of the two groups decreased to different degrees before and after treatment.In the WORMS scale,the score of the treatment group decreased significantly(P <0.01),while in the WOMAC scale,the score of the treatment group decreased significantly(P <0.01).3.Adverse reactions: All 64 patients in this test had no adverse drug reactions and toxic and side effects.One patient in the control group was controlled by oral analgesic drugs because knee joint pain was not relieved.Conclusion: Ginsenoside Rg3 capsule can obviously improve the clinical symptoms of patients with knee osteoarthritis complicated with bone marrow edema,relieve pain and reduce edema area.
