Autologous Fat Transplantation In The Correction Of Sunken Upper Eyelids

Autologous fat has often been considered as an ideal tissue filler.Gradually,It has been widely used in various types of plastic surgery in recent years.The sunken upper eyelid refers to the depression between the eyelid and the upper edge of the orbital septum,which bring a feeling of fatigue and aging,and even seriously affect facial appearance.In this paper,we discuss the methods,indications and complications of the orbital fat and autologous fat transplantation or combined withother surgical methods in the correction of sunken upper eyelid,by reviewing the use of autologous fat in the correction of the sunken upper eyelid at home and abroad in recent years.
