| Objective: Due to factors such as urbanization,industrialization,population aging,and various unhealthy lifestyles,the incidence of chronic diseases in China is rising rapidly.Chronic diseases have become the main public health problems for the elderly,with high morbidity,high prevalence,and high rates.The disability rate,high mortality rate and high cost of medical treatment seriously affect the quality of life of the elderly.In this study,the main factors affecting the knowledge,attitudes,and behaviors of prevention and control of chronic diseases in the elderly are analyzed by understanding the knowledge,attitudes,and behaviors of common chronic diseases in the elderly,in order to improve the quality of life of the elderly,promote the healthy aging process and actively carry out related prevention and control work of the elderly to provide scientific advice and measures.Methods: Using multi-stage hierarchical sampling method,the survey was conducted in the sample area for more than 6 months,and older persons older than 60 years of age.According to the level of economic development and the size of the elderly population,6 sample districts and counties in Fuling District,Shapingba District,Kaizhou District,Tongnan District,Youyang County,and Pengshui County were sampled inChongqing.And in each of the sample districts and counties,one each of urban and rural neighborhood committees was selected.Self-designed questionnaires were used to conduct face-to-face questioning surveys by unified training investigators.The content of the questionnaire was designed to refer to the risk factors of common chronic diseases.SPSS 22.0software was used for descriptive and statistical analysis.Results: A total of 730 elderly people were surveyed.The awareness rate of common chronic diseases prevention was 31.9%.The rate of hypertension and diabetes was 29.6% and 22.1%.Adult daily oil and salt intake was 11.0% and 19.2%.Different occupational,cultural degree,household registration type and family economic situation have different knowledge of prevention and control of chronic diseases,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The proportion of five chronic disease prevention and control attitudes is considered to be more than 60%.61.2%and 34.2% tested blood pressure and blood sugar in the last six months.23.7% of the people in the main movement consulted the prevention and control of chronic diseases.Conclusion: The knowledge of prevention and control of common chronic diseases in Chongqing is low.And the health prevention and control behavior is worse,the prevention and control attitude is more positive.Different occupations,education levels,and types of household registration are the main factors affecting the knowledge and attitudes of the elderly in prevention and control of common chronic diseases.Therefore,the government should increase the prevention and control of chronic diseases in urban and rural areas and increase the policy of chronic diseases.Many chronic disease for the elderly to carry out the relevant health education propaganda,improve the cognitive level of old people,through various forms of health campaign to help set up the consciousness of prevention of chronic diseases in the elderly,to promote the healthy life habit and behavior. |
