Objective: To observe the clinical effect of rehabilitation therapy on promoting the rehabilitation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and promoting the psychological health and quality of life of the elderly patients.Methods: 120 elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were selected from Department of respiration in our hospital from January 2015 to June 2016.They were randomly divided into the intervention group(60 cases)and the control group(60 cases).The patients in the intervention group were given traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine rehabilitation treatment on the basis of routine drug treatment.Patients in the control group received routine medication only(all patients were classified according to the guidelines for the 2014 GOLD chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)and were treated according to the guidelines.Two groups of patients were followed by 4 weeks after the SF-36 health survey scale,psychological and quality of life were compared and analyzed,and pulmonary function tests were carried out,and the results of the two groups were compared.Results: after 4 weeks of treatment,SF-36 health survey scale evaluation results show that the evaluation of intervention group in physiological function,body pain,general health,vitality,social function,mental health dimensions on the results significantly better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);pulmonary function of the observation group were better than the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion: rehabilitation therapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine can improve the pulmonary function,mental health and quality of life in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,so as to promote the rehabilitation of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
