Research On Cognition Status Of Medical Liability Insurance For Chongqing Medical Staff

Objective: To understand the current status of Chongqing medical personnel's knowledge of medical liability insurance(hereinafter referred to as medical liability insurance),and to provide decision-making basis for advancing the implementation of medical responsibility insurance.Target: 616 medical staff in 12 hospitals in Chongqing's main city and 5 hospitals in districts and counties,including 317 doctors,234 nurses,31 medical technicians,34 administrative staff and pharmacists.Methods: Qualitative interviews were combined with self-designed questionnaires.Multi-stage stratified random sampling was used to select the survey subjects.The basic situation of medical staff and the current status of medical insurance and liability recognition were investigated.Results: According to the Chi-square test,whether or not the different levels of hospitals and hospitals in which hospitals purchased medical insurance,insurance insurance methods,organizational models,payment methods,purchase insurance costs,claims conditions,and whether individuals are willing to purchase medical insurance and liability insurance have differences in individual cognition Statistically significant(P<0.05);After logistic multivariate analysis,whether the hospital purchased medical insurance,payment methods,purchase insurance costs,claims conditions,whether willing to personally purchase medical insurance liability has statistical significance(P<0.05).According to multiple-choice surveys,only 147 people have not suffered any personal attacks since 2009.The status of medical disputes among medical staff in Chongqing cannot be ignored.Then there are 302 people who believe that medical insurance coverage is insufficient.Most people use the issue of medical and liability insurance as the current problem of medical and liability insurance.Lastly,463 people put their expectations for medical and liability insurance on the scope of protection.523 people chose “reduction of medical and liability insurance protection.“Practical stress”;the results of the interview investigation showed that some people did not understand the medical insurance and the publicity and effect of medical insurance.Discussion and Suggestions: A number of Logstic analysis results show that the personnel who know medical insurance do not support the premiums paid by individuals,and they are more concerned with the cost of purchasing medical insurance and insurance insurance,and they do not support the use of medical faults as the claim conditions in the claim conditions.The insurance is purchased for this type of insurance;the degree of medical and liability insurance awareness is that of the average person,and it does not support “whether or not the medical treatment is faulty.” It is recommended to strengthen the promotion of medical insurance and liability insurance,develop and adjust medical and casualty insurance according to actual conditions,and gradually implement compulsory medical insurance to promote the healthy development of Chongqing's medical insurance system.
