Research On The Demand Of Medical Liability Insurance In Shanghai Hospitals

Medical disputes have become a hot topic in China in recent years and become one of the prominent issues affecting social harmony and stability.The use of medical liability insurance in the medical risk insurance management mechanism is a globally recognized effective tool to protect the legitimate rights and interests of both doctors and patients.Medical liability insurance is conducive to risk sharing and dispute resolution,and has become one of the means for the medical industry to transfer medical liability risks.This article takes the needs of the hospital as the starting point,and explains the needs of the hospital for the transfer of medical liability risk and medical dispute risk through internal motivation and external demand,respectively.The internal motivation mainly comes from the need for hospitals and medical staff to diversify medical liability risks,achieve contradiction transfer,and standardize dispute processes;the external needs mainly come from government legal documents,government organization mediation system support,and medical dispute development trends.Based on the internal theoretical analysis and external market demand research of medical institutions,this paper conducts a demand survey on medical staff in Shanghai by designing a questionnaire,and combines face-to-face interviews with hospital management to obtain the current medical liability insurance of the hospital.Evaluation,and medical dispute resolution processes.Based on an in-depth analysis of actual needs,this article starts with several aspects such as innovating the organizational structure of medical liability insurance,differentiating risk management for different levels of hospitals,and establishing the correct concept of resolving medical disputes.The provision of insurance makes a number of policy recommendations.
