Objective: With the continuous progress of science and technology,the rapid development of society and the change of medical model,people's demand and expectation for the quality of medical service are also getting higher and higher.as the main body of medical cause,doctors are the main force in the medical and health industry and the main human resources wealth of the hospital,shouldering the important task of saving the dead and helping the wounded.Therefore,doctors' professional identity has been paid more and more attention by hospital managers and the community.A large number of studies show that doctors' professional identity level is affected by many factors.Workplace violence and psychological capital as its influencing factors,including psychological capital can improve the level of professional identity,but the current research on the relationship between workplace violence,psychological capital and professional identity is still lacking.This study will further study the relationship between workplace violence,psychological capital and professional identity,and explore whether psychological capital plays an mediate role between workplace violence and professional identity.It is of great practical significance to find effective intervention measures to improve the level of doctor's professional identity in terms of psychological capital,to improve the quality of doctor's service and to promote the healthy development of the whole social medical field.Participants and methods: This study was conducted with Dalian doctors as the research object.Using the method of multistage stratified random sampling on the research,in five regions,shahekou district,Zhongshan district,xigang district,ganjingzi district and high-tech park,1200 doctors were randomly selected from hospitals,and effective rate was 89.92%.The survey scale includes general situation questionnaire,professional identity scale,psychological capital scale and workplace violence scale.Multivariate hierarchical regression analysis was used to explore the relationship between workplace violence,psychological capital and professional identity.Results: The results of this study show that workplace violence has a negative effect on the professional identity.Psychological capital has a positive effect on professional identity,and psychological capital plays a mediate role between workplace violence and professional identity among doctors and variation explained professional identity was 17 %.Conclusion: The results of this study show that workplace violence has a negative effect on the professional identity and psychological capital of doctors.Psychological capital has a positive effect on professional identity,and psychological capital plays a mediate role between workplace violence and professional identity of doctors.Therefore,if managers can reasonably improve the level of psychological capital of doctors through effective means,this will have a positive effect on improving the doctor's professional identity.Finally,improving the quality of medical service can also drive the overall level of medical and health service development.
