Objective: to investigate the relationship between FT3 level and intracranial and extracranial atherosclerosis stenosis in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods: A total of 148 patients with acute cerebral infarction(experimental group)hospitalized in the neurology department of Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University from 2016-10 to 2017-10 months were collected, and 97 patients with non acute cerebral infarction without arteriosclerosis(control group)were compared with the general clinical features. The P < 0.05 variables were included in the regression analysis. The patients with acute cerebral infarction were divided into single patients.Pure intracranial arteriosclerosis stenosis group, simple extracranial arteriosclerosis stenosis group, intracranial extra cranial mean arteriosclerosis stenosis group and no stenosis group, each arteriosclerosis subgroup and the control group were compared with the control group to analyze the relationship between FT3 and arteriosclerosis, and the acute cerebral infarction group was compared with the control group.According to different stenotic sites, the patients were divided into three groups: anterior circulation group, posterior circulation group, anterior and posterior circulation group, and the others were classified as no intracranial artery stenosis group. The relationship between FT3 and intracranial artery stenosis in acute cerebral infarction was analyzed.According to the number of stenosis vessels in the acute cerebral infarction group, the relationship between the FT3 level and the degree of intracranial arteriosclerosis stenosis was analyzed, and the degree of stenosis of the extracranial artery(carotid artery)was classified in the patients with acute cerebral infarction. To analyze the relationship between FT3 and stenosis of extracranial artery(carotid artery)in acute cerebral infarction. Results: 1.The level of FT3 TSH in patients with acute cerebral infarction was significantly lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05).The Logistic regression analysis showed that the OR value of FT3 was 0.06095% and CI: 0.019-0.191(P < 0.001)was significantly correlated with acute cerebral infarction, which may be the protective factor of acute cerebral infarction.2.Compared with the control group, the different arteriosclerosis subgroups of acute cerebral infarction had different subgroups(P < 0.05).By multivariate Logistic regression analysis,we got the value of FT3OR(0.049%)and95% CI: 0.015(P < 0.05).There was a significant correlation between acute cerebral infarction arteriosclerosis and acute cerebral infarction(P < 0.001),which may be an independent protective factor of acute cerebral infarction arteriosclerosis(P > 0.05).The comparison of FT3 between different degree of carotid arteriosclerosis group(P > 0).05,the difference was not statistically significant, with the degree of carotid artery stenosis the level of FT 3 decreased.Conclusion:1.The levels of FT3 and TSH in patients with acute cerebral infarction were significantly lower than those in the control group.FT3 may be a protective factor for acute cerebral infarction.2.FT3 is associated with acute cerebral infarction of intracranial arteriosclerosis, which may be a protective factor.3.The level of FT3 is not related to the location and degree of intracranial artery stenosis in acute cerebral infarction.4.The level of FT3 was not related to the degree of acute cerebral infarction. The more severe the carotid artery stenosis, the lower the level of FT3.
