Objectives Through the application of Yin-yang meridians points penetration needling treatment of stroke spastic paralysis,to observe the improvement of muscle tension before and after treatment, and to evaluate the influence of Yin-yang meridians points penetration needling on muscle tension in patients with stroke spastic paralysis. Methods 70 patients conformed to the diagnostic inclusion criteria consistent stroke spastic paralysis, were randomly divided into two groups, the Yin-yang meridians points penetration needling test group and the traditional acupuncture control group,35 cases each.In the aspects of the test group, the ipsilateral stimulates Jianyu through Jiquan,Quchi through Shaohai,Waiguan thourgh Neiguan,Hegu through Laogong,Liangqiu through Xuehai,Yanglingquan through Yinlingquan,Xuanzhong through Sanyinjiao,Qiuxu through Zhaohai. In the aspects of the control group, the ipsilateral stimulates Jianyu,Quchi,Shousanli,Waiguan,Hegu,Biguan,Zusanli,Futu,Fenglong,Quze,Daling,Jiexi,Ququan,Taixi. Both groups were given the method of mild reinforcing and attenuating after needle insertion.Leave the needle 30 minutes and move it once per 15 minutes. The selected acupoints acupuncture once a day,2 weeks for 1 course, each week of 1 day,a total of 3 courses. We evaluated the improvement of limb spasticity of all patients and the motor function according to the following items: 1)Clinic Spasticity Index score;2)simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function score.3)we used the modified Ashworth grading as clinical indicator criteria to determined the clinical efficacy and muscle tension improvement of stroke spastic paralysis. Results 1.Comparison of general data before treatment in two groups of patients, the difference was not significant(P>0.05).2.The Ashworth grading,Clinic Spasticity Index score and Fugl-Meyer motor function score had improved after treatment in both groups, the difference was significant compared with before treatment(P<0.05).3.After treatment between the two groups, the changes of Ashworth grading,Clinic Spasticity Index score and Fugl-Meyer motor function score were significantly differences in the test group comparing with the control group(P<0.05).4.Efficacy evaluation: comparison of two groups of patients after clinical efficacy, the total effective rate was 88.57% in the test group and 71.43% in the control group.,the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusions 1.Both Yin-yang meridians points penetration needling and traditional acupuncture can improve the muscle tone, spasticity, and motor function of limbs in stroke patients;2.Yin-yang meridians points penetration needling treatment is superior to traditional acupuncture in improving the muscle tone, spasticity, and motor function of stroke patients with spastic paralysis.
