Detect Serum TPO Levels In Patients Of Lron Deficiency Anemia With Secondary Thrombocytopenia And Study Its Correlation

Objective:To detect serum TPO levels in patients of Iron deficiency anemia with secondary thrombocytopenia,and To investigate the relationship between Iron deficiency anemia with secondary thrombocytopenia and serum TPO and its possible mechanism.Methods:31 cases were selected,divided into three groups according to the level of platelets and hemoglobin,including 20 cases of thrombocytosis,11 cases of normal platelets with anemia,4 cases of thrombocytosis but not anemia,ten healthy cases were designed as other group,all cases were selected from the pediatric hematology outpatient department of the first hospital of Jilin university from March 2017 to June 2017.ELISA was used to detect the serum levels of TPO.The results were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 statistical software.Results:1.Of total 45 study cases,20 cases with IDA and thrombocytosis,11 cases with IDA but normal platelets,10 cases with healthy children and 4cases with thrombocytosis but without anemia The level of TPO in patients IDA with secondary thrombocytopenia group was slightly higherthan other three groups,there was no significant difference between the normal platelet count group?the healthy group?thrombocytosis but not anemia group and IDA with secondary thrombocytopenia group(P>0.05).There were no significant difference in age and sex(P>0.05)?2.There was a negative correlation between platelet and hemoglobin in IDAwith thrombocytopenia cases(p < 0.05).Conclusion:1.In iron deficiency anemia(IDA)secondary thrombocytosis patients,the level of serum TPO increased slightly,is not closely related with the platelet count,there may be a synergistic effect between TPO and other chemicals to increase platelet count.2.There is a negative correlation between the degree of thrombocytosis and hemoglobin in IDA secondary thrombocytosis patients,The more severe the anemia,the more obvious the platelet increase.3.In iron deficiency anemia is one of the independent factors of reactive thrombocytosis in children.
