Objective: To understand and explore the correlation between risk factors in childrenwith iron deficiency anemia and TCM syndrome type. Provide a basis and reference forTCM syndrome differentiation and treatment of children with iron deficiency anemia.Methods: To make a clinical questionnaire, to collect with the western medicine diagnosisstandard of children’s medical records in children with iron deficiency anemia, establishrelevant database, using SPSS19.0statistical software for statistical processing of thecollected data, the correlation analysis of the risk factors and TCM syndrome type. Results:200cases of children with iron deficiency anemia of children surveyed,124cases ofspleen and stomach type,53cases belong to deficiency of two cases,21cases of liver andkidney yin deficiency type,2cases of spleen deficiency type. Nutritional iron deficiencyanemia in children aged6months to2years old, premature birth, low birth weight, notbreastfeeding, early complementary feeding, chronic diarrhea, maternal iron deficiency is acommon risk factors in children with iron deficiency anemia; children with iron deficiencyanemia, TCM syndrome type and course of disease feeding, complementary feeding time,has certain correlation with the degree of anemia.Conclusion: Through the clinical investigation, can identify factors in children withiron deficiency anemia of TCM syndromes and incidence and distribution, can provide anobjective basis for rational clinical syndrome differentiation.
