Objective(s):To explore the correlation between the serum level of MMP-12,TIMP-1,TIMP-2,CEACAM1 and atrial fibrillation.Methods:1.60 cases of patients treated in the affiliated hospital of Kunming Medical Unniversity from January 2017 to January 2018 were choosed.Divided into Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation(26 cases),Persistent Atrial Fibrillation(16 cases)and sinus rhythm(18 cases).The blood samples were collected in the next day for later analysis of MMP-12,TIMP-1,TIMP-2 by liquid chip and the analysis of CEACAM1 by Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay.2.Left atrial diameter(LAD)and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)were measured by ultrasound cardiogram(UCG)while the patients in hospital.The blood indicators such as blood routine examination?liver and kidney function were mearured on the next day.And evaluate the relative of these indexs with MMP-12,TIMP-1,TIMP-2 and CEACAM1.Results:1.The level of serum MMP-12 in sinus rhythm group was clearly higher than the paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group and persistent atrial fibrillation group.(P<0.05);2.The level of serum CEACAM1 in persistent atrial fibrillation group was clearly higher than sinus rhythm group.(P<0.05)3.The level of serum TIMP-1,TIMP-2 in sinus rhythm group?paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group and persistent atrial fibrillation group had no statistical difference(P>0.05).4.The level of age in atrial fibrillation group(including persistent atrial fibrillation group and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group)was clearly higher than the sinus rhythm group(P<0.05);5.The level of left atrial dimension in atrial fibrillation group(including persistent atrial fibrillation group and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group)was clearly higher than the sinus rhythm group(P<0.05);6.In sinus rhythm group?paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group and persistent atrial fibrillation group,the level of serum brain natriuretic peptide had no statistical difference.Conclusion(s):1.The level of serum MMP-12 in sinus rhythm group was clearly higher than the atrial fibrillation group.(P<0.05),we hypothesis that MMP-12 maybe participate in the process of atrial fibrillation;2.The level of serum CEACAM1 in persistent atrial fibrillation group was clearly higher than the sinus rhythm group(P<0.05),we hypothesis that CEACAM1 maybe participate in the process of atrial fibrillation;3.Age and Left atrial diameter have a close relationship with atrial fibrillation.Innovation:1.We find the serum level of MMP-12 in non-valvual atrial fibrillation is clearly lower than the sinus rhythm group;2.We find the serum level of CEACAM1 in persistent non-valvual atrial fibrillation is clearly higher than the sinus rhythm group.
