Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Vitiligo With Yangxuequbai Decoction Combined With Plum-Blossom Needle

Objective:To observe the clinical effect and safety of using Yangxuequbai decoction combined with Plum-blossom needle to treat Qi and Blood deficiency type of Vitiligo.Methods:Eighty patients who suffered from Qi and Blood deficiency type of Vitiligo were selected,they were randomly allocated to the treatment and control groups with 30 cases in each group.When in experiment two cases have fall out in the treatment group and three cases in the control groups.The treatment group received by the traditional Chinese medicine of Yangxuequbai decoction and the control group was intervened by Baidianfeng pills,and both group were given the needle tapping on the basis.The two groups were treatd for 8 weeks that is the course of treatment,to observe and record the general condition,the area of the lesion,pigment integral,DLQI scores and routine inspection index in the last day of eight,sixteen,twenty-four weeks before and after the treatment.In the end,determination of clinical effects according to the data of each group were analyzed and arranged.Results:1.Both group have decreased of the lesion area after the treatment,and the treatment group decreased from 21.36±9.93cm2 to 6.63±9.03cm2,the control group decreased from 24.74±11.61cm2 to 12.18±11.01cm.Prove the effect of the treatment group is better than the control group,and difference has statistical significance in the two groups(P<0.05).The recover condition of the lesion tinct of two groups have improved,the treatment group and the control group are respectively 2.28±0.69 and 1.84±0.76.There was a statistically significant difference in the pigment integral between the two groups(P<0.01).2.Dermatology life quality index show:after the treatment,two groups of patients for reducing DLQI scores had curative effect(P<0.01),there was a statistically significant difference in the DLQI scores between the two groups(P<0.01),to compare the lesion area difference and DLQI scores difference(P<0.05),differences have statistical significance,moreover,treatmen before the two groups of patients' difference correlation analysis found that both positively correlated(r=0.281).3.In the treatment process,two groups of patients have not seen the numerical abnormalities of electrocardiogram,blood routine examination,urinalysis,liver and renal function.Conclusion:1.The lesion area,pigment integral and DLQI scores of vitiligo patients after the treatment of Yangxuequbai decoction combined with Plum-blossom needle have substantial improvement.2.To use Yangxuequbai decoction combined with Plum-blosso-m needle to treatment of vitiligo is safe and effective.
