A Study On The Current Situation Of The Elderly Carers' KAP In The Aged Institutions And The Analysis Of Its Influencing Factors

Objective: to investigate the knowledge,attitude and practice of elderly caregivers in Nanning,in order to understand the current situation of their knowledge,attitude and practice,and analyze their influencing factors.To provide suggestions for improving the service quality of elderly carers in old-age institutions.Methods: in this study,we collected the database of Wanfang,CNKI,VIP and PubMed to understand the current situation of world population aging and the present situation of carers of the aged institutions at home and abroad.Using a convenient sampling method,the elderly caregivers in Nanning pension institution were selected as the research object,and the general information questionnaire was used,the Chinese version of the Facts of Aging Quiz 1(FAQ1),the Chinese version of Kogan's Attitudes Toward Old People Scale(KAOPS)and the Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ)were used to investigate and collect data.The collected data were recorded and verified with EpiData3.1 software SPSS22.0 Statistical methods include descriptive statistical Student's t test,Chi-square test,variance analysis,multivariate linear regression analysis and so on.Results: in this study,156 questionnaires were sent out and 152 valid questionnaires were collected.(1)The FAQ1 score of the elderly caregivers was 11.80±2.58,the pass rate was 14.5% and the overall correct rate was 15.7%.(2)The total KAOPS score of the elderly caregivers was 109.51±18.05.The positive attitude subscale was 54.89 ± 11.20,and the negative attitude score was 54.62±7.91.The total score of 53.3% aged carers scale was higher than the average,and the overall attitude score was approximately normal distribution.The correlation coefficient of 16 matched items showed that the elderly caregivers' attitude towards the elderly was positive but the tendency of contradiction was(r<0.3,P<0.05).(3)The positive coping dimension of the elderly caregivers was 1.76±0.87,and negative coping dimensions were divided into 1.17 ± 0.97 scores.(4)By multiple linear regression analysis,it was found that KAOPS scores entered the regression model of aging knowledge,and the stepwise regression equation had statistical significance(F=56.459,P=0.000).The scores entered the regression model of attitude towards the elderly,the stepwise regression equation was statistically significant(F=23.742,P=0.000).The educational level,the appointment method and the score of FAQ1 were not included in the regression model of the negative dimension of SCSQ,but the stepwise regression equation had no statistical significance in the regression model of the negative dimension of SCSQ,and the stepwise regression equation had no statistical significance in terms of the educational level,the way of appointment,the score of FAQ1 and the score of KAOPS.Conclusion: The aging knowledge level of elderly caregivers in Nanning is low,the attitude towards the elderly is positive but contradictory,the coping style is in an ideal state.The service quality of the elderly carers in Nanning should be improved.It is necessary to establish a perfect pension system,standardize the service standards of employees,increase the strength and financial expenditure of personnel training,attract high-quality talents,strengthen nursing training,and formulate a unified training and evaluation system.
