| Background : Schizophrenia is a very common and most representative disease in mental illness.Many research draw a conclusion that clinical manifestations of schizophrenia include positive and negative symptoms and cognitive impairment.The children who had not taken the drug in the first-episode and in a steady period after treatment were selected.Three of selected groups are participants in the trials on cognitive function test.the first-episode group and rehabilitation group were assessed by positive negative symptom scale.(PANSS).Compared three groups of MCCB cognitive scores,analysis of child and adolescent characteristics of cognitive impairment in schizophrenia,and the to know the relationship between cognitive function and clinical characteristics,to understand if medications can improve symptoms.Objective: To explore the influence factors of cognitive function impairment in children and adolescents with schizophrenia,and investigate the relationship between cognitive function impairment score of PANSS scale.Methods: 30 cases of first-episode schizophrenia patients,30 cases of chronic schizophrenia patients and 30 healthy volunteers from May 2016 to August 2017 were selected.First-episode schizophrenia patients were from Anhui Mental Health Center,chronic schizophrenia patients were from Anhui Mental Health Center,healthy volunteers were from community.The cognitive function were assessed by schizophrenic cognitive test battery-consensus version(MCCB)and stroop color word test in the subject with schizophrenia's first episode patients with schizophrenia(first episode group),chronic episode patients with schizophrenia(chronic episode)andnormal control(normal group and the 7 cognitive profile patterns and characteristics of cognitive function impairment were analyzed.After 8 weeks of treatment,the first-episode group and the recovery group were retested by MCCB,to explore the difference between first-episode group and recovery group.Compared two groups which changes of cognitive function after treatment were difference,and analyze the relationship between cognitive impairment and clinical symptoms in children with schizophrenia,in order to observe the changes of cognitive function before and after medication in the first-episode group.Result:Compared with healthy controls,the first-episode group and group got lower total score in MCCB test(p < 0.05).In children patients with schizophrenia,the language fluency test score of rehabilitation patients is lower in the first-episode group language fluency test score.(t = 2.276,p < 0.05).first-episode group patients were treated after 8 weeks,language learning,spatial extent of attachment test,emotion management,continuous operation,a maze experiment test scores in MCCB tests are higher than first test.(p <0.05).Rehabilitation patients with two patients with the test results show that the second test scores in attachment a labyrinth test and test scores for the first time was a little higher(P < 0.05),the rest of the test scores no statistical differences.Starting set is not use wired test scores and positive symptoms in PANSS scale factor is divided into positive correlation(r = 0.388,p < 0.05),and continuous operation test score and negative symptom factor correlation(r = 0.296,p < 0.05),a maze test scores and PANSS total divided into negative correlation(r = 0.457,p < 0.05),total scores of MCCB with negative symptom factor points and PANSS scores there is negative correlation.(r = 0.483,p < 0.01;R = 0.394,p < 0.394).Conclusion: There is cognitive function impairment in children and adolescents withfirst-episode schizophrenia which should be improved after treatment.Children's cognitive function in schizophrenia were obvious damage,and damage is widely exists in seven areas of cognition,especially of the damage performance in first-episode group.cognitive impairment of schizophrenia is associated with disease clinical negative symptoms.Starting some cognitive function of first-episode can be recovered after treatment,illustrating drug therapy can improve cognitive function in patients of schizophrenia.However,the cognitive function of stable patients is still impaired,suggesting that cognitive impairment may be an independent syndrome of schizophrenia. |
