Objective:This study is to investigate the clinical symptoms and signs of Lung-Clearing and Phlegm-Resolving Decoction in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)who suffer from stagnation of phlegm-dampness in lung and the changes of serum procalcitonin(PCT)and Interleukin-6(IL-6).The role of Lung-Clearing and Phlegm-Resolving Decoction in the treatment of acute exacerbation of COPD is discussed from the perspective of inhibiting inflammation in the airways of the lungs,providing a theoretical basis for the future clinical application of Lung-Clearing and Phlegm-Resolving Decoction in the acute exacerbation of COPD.Methods:From January 2017 to January 2018,60 patients(ages 45 years old to 75 years old)who were admitted to the Respiratory Medicine Ward of Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)were enrolled,are to be investigated and randomized into control groups(30 patients)and treatment group(30 patients)by using a random number table method.Results:1.Compared with the clinical symptoms and signs after treatment,the total effective rate was 96.7% in the treatment group and 80.0% in the control group.The curative effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).2.Compared with PCT and IL-6after treatment,the decrease of PCT and IL-6 in treatment group was more obvious than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Lung-Clearing and Phlegm-Resolving Decoction combined with routine Western medicine treatment can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs of COPD patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)who suffer from stagnation of phlegm-dampness in lung,and they can reduce PCT,IL-6 levels of patients.2.Lung-Clearing and Phlegm-Resolving Decoction combined with routine western medicine treatment can reduce PCT,IL-6 levels of patients with acute exacerbation of COPD who suffer from stagnation of phlegm-dampness in lung,thereby inhibiting airway inflammation. |
