Background:Inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD)represent a group of chronic immune-mediated disorders that are influenced by a genetic predisposition and additional environmental triggers.Genome-wide association studies(GWAS)strongly implicate that a number of immune system-related genetic variations are critically contributing to the initiation and promotion of intestinal inflammation.Gene.expression is tightly regulated by a complex of transcriptional activators or inhibitors with transcriptional machinery,especially influenced by SNP.Related studies have shown that IL-23R mutations are associated with IBD in foreign countries,but there is no exactly conclusion on it.Also,different regions and different races may influence.the result of gene polymorphisms.Objective:To study the relationship between susceptibility to IBD in Guangxi population and IL-23R SNP:rs 11805303 and rs2981804.Method:We collected 172 patients of IBD and 160 healthy people's Intestinal tissue.And the extraction kit to extract the intestinal mucosa using DNA gene containing SNP loci for IL-23R gene fragment by polymerase chain reaction amplification to obtain PCR products by DNA sequencing analysis were compared.Result:UC patients in both Zhuang and Han group,rs11805303 polymorphisms's genotype and allele frequencies were significantly different from the controls(P<0.05).CD patients in both Zhuang and Han group,rs2981804 polymorphisms's genotype and allele frequencies were significantly different from the controls(P<0.05).rs 11805303 and rs2981804 polymorphisms's genotype and allele frequencies from group IBD?UC and CD between Zhuang and Han patients had no specific associations.Conclusion:We confirmed the susceptibility of rs 11805303 polymorphisms with UC and the susceptibility of rs2981804 polymorphisms with CD in Guangxi Zhuang population.Polymorphisms of rs11805303?rs2981804 can influence the development of IBD in Guangxi Zhuang population.
