In recent years, related studies published abroad have demonstrated the correlation of IRGM gene mutation with IBD. But the domestic and foreign research conclusion is inconsistent. Objective:To analyze the correlation between susceptibility to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in Chinese zhuang population of Guangxi province and IRGM gene single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP),rs13361189〠rs4958847.Method:The Intestinal tissue of 185 patients of IBD and 175 healthy people were collected.Extraction of intestinal mucosal tissue with gene extraction kit DNA, Polymerase chain reaction was used to amplify the IRGM gene, and products were sequenced using the sequencer. Results:In Zhuang and Han population in Guangxi Province the genotype and allele frequencies at IRGM SNP of rsl3361189 and rs4958847 of IBD patients and normal controls were in Hardy—Weinberg equilibrium. No significant differences were noted in the IRGM gene genotype and allele frequency among the IBD patients with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and the healthy controls (P>0.05).Conclusion:The gene polymorphisms of IRGM gene are not associated with IBD in Chinese zhuang population in Guangxi. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | IRGM gene, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), gene polymorphism | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
