The Clinical Study Of Nodular Goiter-Type Of Qi Depression And Phlegm Obstruction Syndrome Treated By XiaYingFang

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of XiaoYingFang on Qi Stagnation and Phlegm Obstruction Syndrome of Nodular Goiter and evaluate its clinical value and safety.Methods: 60 patients were come from affiliated hospital of Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.And each group had 30 patients.On the basis of the basic treatment,the treatment group was treated by XiaoYingFang.The control group was treated by Levothyroxine sodium tablets(Euthyrox).Both groups were treated with 3 months.Then collected the data to evaluate the safety and efficacy of both groups.Results:(1)The basic data of both groups such as gender,age and disease-course exist no statistically significant differences(P>0.05)before the treatment.(2)After treatment,the symptoms of g the treatment group was decreased(P<0.05),and better than the control group(P<0.05).(3)After treatment,the maximal diameter and number of thyroid nodules of both groups were decreased(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(4)FT3,FT4,TSH of the treatment group all had no statistically significant difference after treatment(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in FT3 and FT4 of the control group,but TSH was significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.05).(5)Comparing the general efficacy of both groups after treatment,the effective rate of treatment group and the control group were respectively 86.70% and 46.67%.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(6)During the study period,all subjects did not occur significant discomfort and adverse drug reactions.And the routine examination of blood,urine,feces and electrocardiogram,liver and kidney function had no abnormal incident before and after the treatment.The safety of the two groups of drugs was satisfactory.Conclusion:Preliminary studies have shown that XiaoYingFang exact effect intervention in patients who have Qi Depression and Phlegm Obstruction Syndrome of Nodular Goiter.XiaoYingFang can reduce the maximum diameter and the number of thyroid nodules,and effectively improve the clinical symptoms.XiaoYingFang is safe and effective,and it is worth promoting.
