The Clinical Observation Of Treating Primary Dysmenorrhea Due To Stagnation Of Qi And Blood With Auricular Points Pressing And Oral Taking Of Nine Qi Pain-relieving Pills

Objectives:This subject is to observe clinical effects of applying auricular points pressing with oral taking of nine qi pain-relieving pills for treating primary raenorrhalgia due to stagnancy of both blood and qi,to evaluate treating effect of this method and to provide scientific basis for the clinical application and promotion of this method.Research method:For this study sixty-four patient of primary raenorrhalgia(stagnancy of both blood and qi)that meets the included standard are chosen.Patients who are clinically collected were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group and control group.The number of patients for each other is 32.The treatment group were treated with auricular points pressing and oral taking of nine qi pain-relieving pills;the control group were treated by only orally taking nine qi pain-relieving pills.The duration of treatment for both groups is three months.Observe scores of TCM symptoms as well as pai score improvement states of the two groups before and after the treatment.Result;As per comparison between the two groups regarding treatment effect,there is no statistical difference(P>0.05)between the treatment group and control group regarding course of disease,age and pain degree of dysmenorrhea and there features comparability.1.Comparison between the two groups regarding score of pain before and after the treatment:before the treatment for the treatment group:10.81±3.14;before the treatment for the control group:10.87±3.31,(P>0.05);hence,there is no statistical difference.After the treatment for the treatment group:7.06 ± 2.21;after the treatment for the control group:8.52±2.93,(P<0.01);hence,there is obvious statistical difference.Besides,there are obvious intra-group differences in the two groups before and after the treatment and there is statistical significance(P<0.01).That means there are treatment effects for both the treatment group and control group regarding the relief of pain score;besides,the effect of the treatment group is obviously superior to that of the control group.2.Comparison between the two groups regarding total clinical symptom effectiveness rate after getting the treatment:the rate for the treatment group is 93.5%and that for the control group is 83.9%.The result of statistical analysis of data for the two groups shows that the treatment group is superior to the control group(P<0.05).3.Comparison between the two groups regarding TCM symptom score:TCM symptom score for the treatment group before treatment:14.23±5.31;14.23±5.31 for the control group before the treatment:14.58±5.08;hence,the difference between the two groups before treatment has no statistical significance(P>0.05).after the treatment,TCM symptom scores of both groups declined compared with those before the treatment and the comparative intra-group differences before and after the treatment for both groups have obvious statistical significance(P<0.01).After the treatment for the treatment group:5.25±5.13;after the treatment for the control group:8.32±6.76;hence,the comparative differences between the two groups after the treatment have statistical significance(P<0.05).4.Comparison between the two groups regarding treatment effect of TCM symptoms:the total effectiveness of the treatment group is 90.3%and that of the control group is 71%(P<0.05).That means there are effects for improving TCM symptoms of patients from both the treatment group and control group and the treatment group is superior to the control group.Conclusion:1.The joint treatment with auricular points pressing and oral taking of nine qi pain-relieving pills can improve TCM symptoms and clinical symptoms of patients with primary dysmenorrhea due to stagnancy of both blood and qi and the treatment effect is superior to only taking nine qi pain-relieving pills.2.For patients with primary dysmenorrhea due to stagnancy of both blood and qi,the joint treatment with auricular points pressing and oral taking of nine qi pain-relieving pills is superior to only taking nine qi pain-relieving pills regarding reducing the degree of dysmenorrhea and maintaining long-term effect.3.The joint treatment with auricular points pressing and oral taking of nine qi pain-relieving pills has typical treatment effect and no negative response.Hence,it is one of good ways to treat primary dysmenorrhea due to stagnancy of both blood and qi.
