Research Background and Objective:Withthe rapid development of China's economy,the daily behavior of people and the way of life has undergone tremendous changes,chronic diseases have become a serious impact on the quality of life in our socialand even become the most harmful factors of life and health.People's unhealty lifestyles are closely related to the development of chronic diseases.The study intend to understand the prevalence rate and risk factors of chronic diseases for the adult in Yixing City by sampling survey method and to comprehensive,scientific and objective to understand the prevalence of hypertension,coronary heart disease,stroke,diabetes,malignant tumors and other chronic disease,then analyze the distribution characteristics of the main risk factors of chronic diseases in our city.Research Methods:According to the method of stratified cluster sampling,communities were randomly extracted during the 18 towns(streets)according to the proportion of population capacity to determine the number of respondents.The residents of theover 18-year-old were residing in the area for more than 6 months..Investigators who were unified training did investigation and physical examination for the samples with the method of questionnaire survey.The Epidata 3.1 software was used for data double entry,andconduct a consistency test.SPSS18.0 software for statistical analysis.The methods of analysis include statistical description,t test,?2 test,multivariate logistic regression analysis,etc.To determine the difference was statistically significant by P<0.05.Research Results:1?For people over 18-years-old in Yixing,the top prevalence of chronic diseases are hypertension,diabetes,chronic gastroenteritis,coronary heart disease,gallstones,hyperlipidemia,stroke,malignancy,and prevalence rates were18.65%?4.65%?2.41%?2.07%?1.41%?1.35%?1.14%?0.99%.2.Most of the occurrence of chronic diseases are the result of multiple factors.Therisk factors of hypertensionare age,BMI,waist circumference,drinking,random blood glucose.The OR are 1.452,1.793,1.538,1.407 and 1.809,and 95%of the confidence interval does not contain l.The risk factors of diabetes risk factors are age,BMI,blood pressure.The OR are 1.229(95%CI is 1.162?1.301),1.346(95%Cl is 1.093?1.658),1.363(95%CI is 1.024?1.813).The risk factors of coronary heart disease are age,waist circumference and blood pressure.The OR are 1,344(95%CI is 1.233?1.465),1.583(95%CI is 1.063?2.358)and 1.666(95%CI is 1.119?2.481).The risk factors of stroke aremale,age,randomized blood glucose,blood pressure.The OR are 2.051(95%CI is 1.172?3.59),1.446(95%CI is 1.288?1.622),2.875(95%CI is 1.542?5.361),1.971(95%CI is 1.162?3.345).The risk factors of malignancy israndomized blood glucose and the OR is 2.176(95%CI is 1.001?4.73).3.The total smoking rate of the population aged 18 and above is 25.07,the male smoking rate is 48.92%,and the female smoking rate is 1.05%.The total drinking rate is 18.87%,the male drinking rate is 48.92%,and the female drinking rate is 2.53%.Often participate in physical exercise(? 3 times/week)rate is 29.65%.The awareness rate of hypertension diagnostic criteria is 63.75%and The awareness rate of diabetes symptoms was 59.05%.Research Conclusion:1?Hypertension and diabetes arethe first two prevalence of chronic diseases in the city,which affect the health of the residents in our city.The relevant departments of the government will take a variety of ways from the source as much as possible to reduce theprevalence of hypertension,diabetes and other major chronic diseases.2?For chronic diseases common risk factors such as BMI,waist circumference,drinking and so on.we can carry out targeted interventions,and usually pay attention to the residents of their own blood pressure blood glucose measurement,toimprove the awareness rate of blood pressure and blood glucose.Finally,we will reduce or control the level of risk factors within the population,then to prevention and control of chronic diseases effectively and to improve the life quality of residents.
