The Effects Of Liraglutideon Insulinresistance And Weight And Sex Hormones In Overweight And Obese Patients With Type 2 Diabetes

Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of liraglutide in treatment of overweight and obese patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods Choose from June 2012 to January 2014 hospitalized patients with type 2diabetes,ninety cases with type 2 diabetes without reaching glycemic target which BMI≥24 kg/m~2 were randomized into two groups--treatment group(45cases)and control group(45 cases).We added liraglutide into treatment group in the original program and basal insulin into control group.According to BMI we divided the treatment group into two groups:overweight subgroup(BMI<28kg/m~2,24 cases)and obese subgroup(BMI≥28 kg/m~2,21 cases).Compared the changes of biochemical indicators(BMI,SBP,FBG,2hPG etc)after twenty weeks treatment.Compared the changes of Sex hormone levels(estradiol,total testosterone,sex hormone binding globulin,etc.)and sexual function in the treatment group and the control group.Results BMI and HOMA-IR were significantly reduced in treatment group than before(P<0.05)and increased in control group(P<0.05);The levels of SBP、FPG、2hPG、HbA1C、TG、TCH decreased in both group(P<0.05);There had significant difference about SBP、TG、TCH(P<0.05)while had no significant differenceaboutFPG、2hPG and HbA1C(P>0.05)between the twogroups;In the treatment group,the decline of BMI in obese subgroup more than overweight subgroup(P<0.05);In the treatment group,T、SHBG、EF increased than before treatment(P<0.05),the control group,T、SHBG、EF than before treatment was not statistically significant(P>0.05);both before and after the treatment,the treatment group and the control group had no obvious change in E2 value(P>0.05).There was no severe hypoglycemia in both group.Conclusions Liraglutide plays a stronger role in aspects of reducing blood glucose and body weight and sex hormones;Patients with higher baseline levels of BMI will havemore benefit in treatment with Liraglutide.
