A Clinical Study Of Treating Chronic Gastric Atrophy Gastritis With Modified Bupiwei Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction

Objective:To observe the effect of modified Bupiwei Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction on the symptoms and signs,gastroscope levels and biopsy of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)patients,and to explore curative effect differences and mechanism’ of different Chinese medicine.Methods:60 obliged CAG patients with spleen qi deficiency and excessive yin fire syndrome were divided into two groups through a table of random numbers,the experimental group and the control group were 30,respectively.Patients in the experimental group were given oral boil-free granule of modified Bupiwei Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction and the contrl group Muoluodan Bolus with some more herbal medicines according to symptoms.The symptoms and signs before treatment,at the first month,second month and third months in the duration of treatment were observed,including stomachache,satiety,noisy,acid,belching,poor appetite,fatigue,loose stool,bitter,halitosis,mouth sores and muscle surface fever.Gastroscope levels and biopsy before and at the third month of treatment were also observed.Statistical analysis of the integral data of symptoms and signs,gastroscope levels and biopsy were set.Results:Most symptoms and signs,gastroscope levels and biopsy scores in the two groups were significantly improved at the first month,second month and third month(P<0.05).Compared with observed levels before treatment,there were no significant differences of scores of bitter in the experimental group(P>0.05);no significant differences of scores of fatigue,loose stool,bitter,halitosis,mouth sores,muscle surface fever at the first month and belching at the second month in the control group(P>0.05).Comparison between the groups were as follows:at the first month,improvement in the fatigue,loose stool,mouth sores and muscle surface fever of the experimental group patients were better compared with the control group(P<0.05);improvement in the stomachache,fullness and other 8 symptoms and signs of the two groups were of no significant difference(P>0.05).At the second month of treatment,improvement in the noisy,belching,loose stool,mouth sores and muscle surface fever of the experimental group patients were better compared with the control group(P<0.05);improvement in the stomachache,satiety,acid,poor appetite,fatigue,bitter,halitosis of the two groups were of no significant differences(P>0.05).At the third month,improvement in the bitter,muscle surface fever of the experimental group patients were better compared with the control group(P<0.05);improvement in the stomach pain,fullness and other 10 symptoms and signs of the two groups were of no significant difference(P>0.05).At all time points,there was no significant differences in the good improvement rates of symptoms and signs and the improvement of the gastroscope levels and biopsy score between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Both modified Bupiwei Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction and Moluodan Bolus can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of CAG patients with deficiency of spleen qi and excessive yin fire syndrome,reduce the classification of gastroscopy and reverse the pathological biopsy of natural gland atrophy and intestinal metaplasia.However,the former is obviously superior to the latter in improving fatigue,mouth sores,muscle surface fever,bitter,noisy,belching,and loose stools.The main mechanism for the difference is due to the compatibility of the compatibility of different prescriptions.
