Research On Ethical Dilemma In Live Organ Transplantation In China

Living organ transplantation is a kind of organ transplantation technology,which can improve the health,prolong the life span and improve the quality of life of the patients who are on the verge of despair.At the same time,it also brings the inevitable damage to the body and psychology of the organ donors,so that the technology is in a moral awkward position.Therefore,in the face of the dilemma of living organ transplantation,we should comprehensively analyze the causes of the dilemma,to find countermeasures and solutions.Based on the review of domestic and foreign scholars on living organ transplantation ethics,this paper discusses and analyzes the ethical dilemma of living organ transplantation in China.This ethical dilemma is mainly manifested in:first,internal dilemma of living organ transplantation techniques:Living organ transplantation technology is conducive to the treatment of patients with organ failure,in line with the principle of benefit,but it is different from other clinical surgical treatment involves another healthy donor,damage to the donor's physical and mental health.There is doubt about the ethical nature of living organ transplantation.Therefore,in the face of the inherent dilemma of living organ transplantation,a measure is needed,namely,how much harm to the organ donor is acceptable.Second,the organ donor's inner self-love and altruistic emotional dilemma.In our country"Filial piety,dear son" culture,and the altruistic consciousness of the donor,the donor will make the decision to donate organs,but this is also in conflict with the donor's inner human base——self-love,which causes organ donors to fall into the trap of organ donation?Third,the organ recipient's inner self-love and self-hate emotional dilemma.Organ recipients as a continuation of life,there is self-love,this kind of self-love performance for survival desire,and desire to get respect from others self-esteem,but at the same time,the relatives of life-saving kindness will also make the recipient in the emotional sense of debt and inferiority complex,which caused the recipient since the love and self-hate heart emotional dilemma.Fourth,the real dilemma caused by the serious shortage of living organs and imbalance between supply and demand.After the birth of living organ transplantation technology,it brings hope to patients with organ disease,but because of the serious imbalance between supply and demand of organs,it has resulted in illegal and criminal behavior such as organ trading.How can live organ transplantation be carried out in accordance with the original intention of organ transplantation technology?This is a social problem,but also a social dilemma.In the face of four different ethical dilemmas,this paper draws on the legislation of foreign donation mechanism and puts forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions based on the specific cultural background of our country:first,Comprehensively weigh the pros and cons and carefully assess risks;Development of new techniques for organ transplantation;Encourage citizens to donate organs after death,the establishment of the body donation service team.Second,the implementation of the donation premise——completely voluntary.Third,provide professional psychological support to alleviate the anxiety and fear of organ recipients,build confidence and face life positively.Fourth,Improve the legal system,and intensify efforts to regulate the sale of organs;purify the network and eradicate the environment of illegal organ trade;Effectively improve the review ability of hospital ethics committee;raise public awareness of life and cherish life.
