Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Forest Fire Prevention Management In Wuxi County

Forest is one of the most precious resources that nature gives to people,and also an indispensable provider of natural resources in social development.It can provide a variety of forest products such as food,herbs,wood and chemical raw materials for human life sustainably.Forest not only maintains the balance of the whole ecosystem,but also plays an important role in the terrestrial ecosystem.It also plays an important role in the sustainable development of the whole ecosystem and social economy.Forest fire is a kind of forest fire behavior which is not controlled by human actions,the fire extends and develops freely to the surrounding areas in the forest covered land,and brings destructive damage to forest resources.The occurrence of forest fire not only affects the development of forestry,impacts the whole ecological environment,but also threatens the life and property safety of the operators and people around the forest and under the forest,causing social unrest and affecting the long-term stability of the country.China has a vast area of forest resources,a large number of combustibles under the forest,and sufficient conditions for forest fires.With the development of economy and society,the impact of human production and living activities on the natural environment and forest resources is increasing,the randomness of fire use in the field is increasing,the difficulty of fire source control in the field is increasing,and the global climate is abnormal,resulting in the high incidence of domestic forest fires,and the situation of forest fire prevention is becoming more and more serious.Wuxi County is the largest forest resource county in Chongqing,with a forest area of 330300 hectares and a forest coverage rate of 68.33%.From 2001 to 2019,211 forest fires occurred in 19 years,with an area of 120.517 hectares,2414.47 cubic meters of lost trees and 73359 young trees.The loss and damage to the ecological environment are immeasurable.At the same time,the management of forest fire prevention in Wuxi County also faces many problems,such as the construction of forest fire prevention organization system is not in place,the management and control of forest fire risk is not in place,the monitoring capacity of forest fire prevention is insufficient,the construction of forest fire prevention infrastructure is lagging behind,the construction of forest fire fighting system is lagging behind,the fire source is complex,and the awareness of the masses is weak.If these problems can not be fully paid attention to and solved,then frequent forest fires will directly threaten the safety of forest resources in Wuxi County,cause damage to vegetation,also cause soil erosion,seriously endanger the ecological security of the Three Gorges Reservoir area of the Yangtze River,and have a great impact on the results of ecological construction in Chongqing.First of all,this paper expounds the background,purpose and significance of the topic,introduces the concept,basic characteristics and necessity of forest fire prevention,and analyzes the forest resources,the occurrence of forest fire,the current situation of forest fire prevention management system,specific management measures and the effectiveness of prevention and management in Wuxi County by means of literature,quantitative and empirical analysis To understand the problems in forest fire prevention management in Wuxi County.In view of the specific problems,this paper puts forward some countermeasures,such as improving the organization and management framework,implementing the fire prevention responsibility,improving the professional quality of forest fire prevention staff,enhancing the elimination of forest fire hazards,increasing the capital investment,improving the fire prevention infrastructure construction,strengthening the standardization construction of forest fire brigade,strengthening the publicity and education,and improving the prevention awareness of the whole people.Through the above countermeasures and suggestions,it can provide reference for how to further improve the forest fire prevention work in Wuxi County,effectively improve the management level of forest fire prevention,effectively reduce the risk of forest fire,and better protect the safety of people’s lives and property.
